Network locked ?
So my original phone broke. I bought an old second hand phone (Samsung GT S5830D ). i had already called Koodoo and unlocked it, however for some reason it has networked locked itself again. I have the IMEI number, just unsure if i should post it here. I am not a koodoo customer im trying to use with my own sim card. Cant use my phone so this is (mabey?) the best way to talk right now. Thanks.
Cannot Access Self Serve Options
I was a Public Mobile Customer and switched to Eastlink. Koodoo called me and offered a great deal to stay in the Telus family so I took the switch to Koodoo. They set me up with an account and advised that I would have to register on the koodo self serve site to request my number be ported from Eastlink. Every time I go to Self Serve - Mobile Options, I get a blue screen like this above. I have cleared my cache on three different devices, logged out and logged back in. Any other suggestions?
Currently on prepaid can I switch to postpaid when I'm not in currently in Canada?
So I made a mistake of adding roaming boosters on my prepaid account and then found out that I couldn’t even use it since it’s only available in Canada and USA (only found out when I got to my destination), so now I don’t really know what options I have for either converting to postpaid or something since I need my number to be able to do my online banking since they don’t send 2FA on like an email or an app authenticator p.s. it’ll be awhile before I get back into Canada
Forwarding to my phone says "blocked"
I recently started volunteering at a crisis line. During out shifts calls are forwarded to our phone numbers via a private line. Callers call a public number, select 1 to access the crisis line, and then are patched through to us. However when I am on call the calls are blocked - it says "Sorry the line is busy" even though I'm not on the phone on my end. How can I solve this problem?
Koodo display data usage I never used
I had peaks of rounded in the past few weeks and I don’t get these numbers.Especially on Jan the 17th at 17pm and 18th 11pm. Here is a screenshot of the data usages.All of my applications can only download content on Wifi ( over cellular is disabled) WiFi Assist mode is activated, but only a few dozen mb had been used iOS and Applications update can only be done over WifiJune 18th June 17th June 16th June 14th June 12th And it happens that I am not the only one to who it happens:
What is koodo default call barring password?
I am trying to activate koodo sim card call barring features on my Samsung phone. It is asking for password and nothing works. I tried no password, 1111,0000,1234,5678 and many others. Do you have any idea what is koodo mobile default call barring password? I never use it before, I never set or changed sim card pins.
Help - no coverage in Europe
Hi, I’m travelling through Europe and have no coverage at all “no service”. Previously when I travelled I’d always get messages ‘Welcome to Country. The name of the carrier (e.g. T-Mobile) and the rates’ and could use the phone as is. This time when arriving to Germany nothing, transferring to Spain, nothing.The only difference is that previously I had Samsung and now Apple 12 - same sim card. I did all the IPhone troubleshooting (restarting, replacing simcard, resetting network settings but nothing works. It possible that it’s blocked by Koodo but I have no way of contacting them as they only way I was able to get to is a call-back which isn’t an option since I have no coverage.I have wifi and whatsapp.How can I get in touch with a Koodo rep? PS. the airplane mode is also disabled Thanks!
Trying to lose customers????
Twice I have had a scheduled callback. Once they didn’t bother at all and today scheduled for 3:30. They finally called almost 20 minutes later and when I hit the number 1 to speak to the rep, the phone rang for 5 minutes and nobody answered. I need documentation for proof in a law suit, and if these clowns do not operated like a decent business should.. they will be next on my list for a law suit. I am so fed up with the complete lack of knowledgeable staff and total disregard for the very people that pay them.
Est-ce normal qu'après avoir redémarrer mon cellulaire, réinitialiser la connexion aux réseaux et changer la carte SIM, mon cellulaire ne capte toujours pas le réseau Koodo. La compagnie va-t-elle avouer que son réseau va mal. Aussi j'aimerais avoir des recommandations sur les forfaits des autres compagnies qui, elles, pourraient m'offrir un vrai service.
Home phone device broken
I’m definitely not impressed with Koodo!! I’ve been using Koodo Wireless home phone for long time. My home phone device (hub) died and I went to a Koodo shop.The agent told me that I have to call Koodo if I am to get a new home phone device or else sign up for a new home telephone line with a new number!My home phone is already dead since a few months and I miss those annoying robo calls. How can I get a live Koodo agent to help me and send me a replacement device?The automated help robot is as good as useless.Thanks.

Hello. I am suffering now. I know my Koodo account number and have been using koodo very long time. But, I dont know about my pin number or anything else. I really need to call Koodo but I don’t know about my pin even if I have my account and online. Somebody help me!
New phone after sending back phone
I was eligible for an upgrade, so a couple of weeks ago I purchased a certified pre-owned phone online. However, when making calls, the person on the other end couldn’t hear me unless I put my phone on speaker. Something must’ve been wrong with the microphone or something. Anyway, I decided to send it back. A Koodo representative told me my tab balance would be on my account for another 2-4 weeks while my phone ships back, and they check everything over. Am I able to purchase another phone while I wait for my tab balance to clear (so I’d have 2 tabs for a short period of time)? Or will I have to wait until my balance is cleared up before going for another phone?
Months worth of data usage in 4 days
I just want to speak with someone about why my data usage is crazy this month. I have used most of my 15GB in 4 days, compared to using on average 7 GB in a month. I want to know how that is possible. Yesterday I got a text to say I had used 50% of my data and less than a minute later a second test to say I had used 90%.
