I have lived in the Hillcrest area in Airdrie, AB for the last two years, and the cellular signal is really awful - LTE is pretty much non-existent where I live, and I have to switch my cellular mode to 3G to be able to use my phone at all. Even then, I can only rely on the signal if I go outside. Inside the house, the signal frequently gets dropped.What is being done to improve the reliability of calls in this area ? Fred

Received a text message supposedly from Revenue Canada regarding an Interac money order coming to me. Asked to log into a spoof site that wants to capture banking info and password. Apparently this modus operandi is also being used to scam Telus Mobility customers for a supposed refund of overcharge. Sender is 999-999-9999. Would be best to block that number.  

I am outside of North America and I am wanting to cancel my plan. There is absolutely no way of getting in contact with anyone. I cant receive a call back because im out of the country and the other number I have used before to get in contact koodo now just hangs up as soon as it says It will connect you with a representative.

My Galaxy s10 is not able to receive calls or texts. I have tested the following:Toggling airplane mode on then off.Toggling do not disturb on then off.Powering the phone off then on.Removing the Sim card and putting it back in.Clearing the cache for calls and texting apps.Factory reset. 

My wife received a text message today, gontaining a link to deposit a payment from koodo to her bank account...we suspect serious spam.

Is Koodo and Telus the same company?

When I first switched to koodo, they gave me a temporary number before transferring my old number (the one I have now). So when it comes to my Samsung account, its linked to the old number. I've asked Samsung about a solution since their service weren't solving the issue either. So now they replied to where they can fix my problem. The only issue is that they need to old number and I have no idea how to get it. I've tried koodos support services but it keeps bringing me to their automated support. It haven't been able to help so far. Is there somewhere I can go to just get the number or even a number to call koodo?

I am currently in the UK with a UK phone number. I have ported my Canadian phone number to an online service so that I could keep the number I’ve had for years without having to pay $15 a month for it. I have to come home for a funeral and would like to reactivate my old sim and port my number back for the time I will be back in Canada. Unfortunately Koodo help is pretty useless now that it has to start with an online chat, as they will not call my UK number so I can’t schedule a callback. Every time I have tried calling it says it will text me to start the process but I do not get the texts.Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can get in contact with koodo from my UK phone?Or does anyone know how I can port my number back to the my deactivated sim card? Is that even possible or would I have to order a new sim card?

Hello, My voicemail had been down for a few days. I receive a “call failed” message. It appears a reset from a rep will fix the issue. I have a callback scheduled for 2 days from now but if this would allow this to be fixed faster I would appreciate it. I have work messaged piling up and its slightly inconvenient! Thank you in advance for your help. 

Can I make extra payment on my tab bill ? 

I am trying to change my phone number and don't like the options Self Serve provides. Talked to customer service and they said there's nothing they can do. I found a service online called NumberBarn that will sell me a number that I want. They say on their site to check with your carrier if they will accept a port. Two questions: 1) Does Koodo accept incoming number ports from NumberBarn?2) Can I port in a number to replace my existing number (and keep my current plan)? 

I am on a bring-your-own-device post-paid plan and I have recently purchased a Google pixel 6 to replace my old Samsung. The Pixel 6 comes with only one SIM card tray: I want to switch my phone number to eSIM to keep the one tray available for local SIM cards when I travel. To my dismay, the dude at my local Telus-Koodo store tells me this is not possible: that there needs to be a physical SIM card in the phone and that eSIM is only for additional lines (???) This is contrary to what the Koodo FAQ page says... What game are they playing? 

Just picked up an eSIM from a Koodo booth. It is now $25 + tax.  Not sure why an eSIM is more expensive than a physical SIM ($5).

Hello everybody, I have been an expat in Canada (Québec) until May 2022 and I’ve had a Koodo account until December 2021. I canceled my account shortly after.Now, for some strange reason I started receiving e-mails at the same address I used to register on Koodo in the name of a fellow named Richard Lafontaine, who would have recently registered on Koodo. I keep getting newsletters, information about the service, the last email I received was an invoice for $152. Since I don't have any Canadian cards that I registered in the old account, it is virtually impossible for them to steal money from me. However, I wonder what is going on. Is an attempt at identity theft taking place? How is it possible that I am receiving emails to an address I deleted 10 months ago?I need help as soon as possible, thank you

I've been hacked on one of my social media accounts. The individual is trying hard to get my phone number from friends. Assuming they can do some damage with my number like porting it out or something.  I have an account pin for my koodo account, does that provide any protection from getting my number stolen?

Hi,I’m writing this on behalf of my elderly mother.  She tried to transfer her number out, but the  transfer is pending authorization. Supposedly she supposed to reply to a text.  But she has the wireless home phone service which is not capable of text.  I trried to put the sim in a cell phone to retrieve the text, but the sim has a pin-lock on it, and koodo did this not myself or my mom.   I don’t know the pin. And my mother is not tech-savvy she would have never known this.   I tried calling customer service, it only allows for a  scheduled callback but that is days away.  I find this totally ridiculous.  She doesn’t want to lose her number that she has had since the 1980’s..  Can this be solved and hopefully in a timely manner.

I accidentally activated my Stream Plus by creating a Netflix account when I already have one. Is there a way to change the stream plus accounts once you've activated them? Thanks!
