So I’m moving to the US at the end of the month. However I currently have a tab on my phone that has yet to be paid off. I was just wondering about my options. I had thought about just closing my plan and continuing to pay off the tab til it’s all paid off. But I don’t know if my phone would be compatible with a US phone plan. I know some phone are “locked” to the country they were sold in so I was just wondering about that. Also I didn’t know if it’s possible to close ur plan while u have an active tab on a phone. With all that said what would be my best option. Thanks

Does anyone know how to call Koodo or email them. I have scheduled a call back from them and their message goes to voice mail. I thought it was my issue so I tried it again a month later. Same thing. My volume is turned up and everything.  It’s like they don’t want to talk to me.

When I try turning on Wi-Fi calling on my Iphone 8 I get a pop-up from Koodo says Step 1 of 3. When I enter my address in step one and hit enter it just goes back to step 1. Everything is filled out correctly. Cannot get past step 1.

Hi! My plan was on hold when I travelling. Just selected a new plan in self serve. Tried many times turn on off phone and remove SIM card, only SOS showing on the phone. Need help!

I live in a very rural area and my cell connection is weak at the best of times unless I go to a specific location. During a power or internet outage, I would be able to message on FB or get my emails but ever since that Rogers fiasco, all I can do is text or phone. I work from home and need to be able to check my emails at the very least. Even going outside and away from my house only gives me one bar. In my specific location inside, I can get three bars but nothing loads. Very frustrating to say the least. I’ve used a VPN over the past year but we never really had any outages until that Rogers mess recently. Could that be an issue? I tried turning it off but it keeps turning back on. 

I have 2 lines on my account. Mine and the other number is for my daughter and I would like to move this number under her name. What would be the process?Thanks

So long story short, I flipped a fishing boat and my phone fell out of my pocket and sank to to the bottom of the lake - 2 weeks after getting it. iPhone 13 Pro.I have the full device coverage and started a claim through phoneclaims.com. Everything was fine, all the services reps were all super nice, but now they’re saying my request is denied because the SIM card cannot be retrieved from the date listed as the date I lost my phone. I’m not sure why they can’t verify this - I used the phone first thing in the morning, then it sank to the bottom of the lake. Went without any device all weekend, and got a new SIM from Koodo a few days later to use in my old device while I waited for the claim to go through.Of course, trying to contact Koodo and I have to schedule a call multiple days in advance from now when I just want to have this dealt with, especially since I know that everything is correct.Is this something I can do at a Koodo Kiosk?

Hi, I am trying to contact customer rep to deal with a lost Koodo SIM card containing my only Canadian based phone number while I am living in USA. Is this even possible with how the the current customer rep call -back system is setup?

When the apartment staffs are trying to connect my cell with the buzzer it says ‘Log distance calling’ then I called Koodo and said the issue and they did something with my phone lock saying that now  everything should work and scheduled a call back on that day itself. But it was still not connecting and when they called the same day I said it not working and they looked into it and said it might take some time to be activated so give it a day and will call the next day. It’s going to almost a week and I did not get a call back also am not able to get a call back as the Koodo assist is not giving me the option to schedule a call. What am I supposed to????????It is really frustrating.!!!!!!

I currently a student and I have an XR. My 2 year contract with Koodo is ending next month and I want to switch to Telus and get a 14 with the BiB program but the plans there start at $85, not including the phone tab I’d have to pay as well. I find my current plan at Koodo really worth it, would I be able to get a better deal from Telus considering how I’ve been with Koodo for so long, and I’m a student? And if so how would I be able to? TIA 

Did Koodo lay all their staff off? Fire them? File for bankruptcy and sell off their assets? Because I cannot seem to get any help with anything anymore..

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with robocallers getting through your Call Control option?I live in BC and have recently received a number of calls from ON with recorded chinese messages. Any suggestions on how to ensure that they don’t get through?

Same here, esportz365 charged my daughter's account for several weeks. She got a scam email that she ignored that asked her to text a code back to them to confirm her account, which she of course never did. She then got another spam text saying that the account had begun and she'd be charged every week. She's young so of course she didn't look into it. These people can send a random text to anyone and unless you reply they can start charging you. It is unbelievable that a company would allow this to happen. These people need to be blacklisted immediately. Koodo can see these messages and there was absolutely no confiration on her part. I don't even think that someone used her telephone number to get a free account, I think they find people's numbers via cell phone companies and just send out the messages in mass to fleece people. 

Ported my number from PC Mobile to Koodo a few hours ago. My account says that my number was successfully transferred, but I still have no signal. I’ve tried removing my SIM and restarting my phone, but no luck.

Hi. My child is currently on the $15 prepaid plan and now that there is a $15 postpaid plan, I would like to move that over to my account. I have 3 questions:Can I keep the existing number? Can I use an existing (never used) postpaid sim card to activate the new account now? I know I’ll still get dinged the $5 for the sim card online but I’d rather not wait for the new card to be delivered. I upgraded my own phone 2 weeks ago and they sent a new sim that I did not use because I just moved the old one over to the new phone.  Can I do all of this online?Thanks!

Moving to  a place with minimal to no Koodo service.  How do I get out of my plan?I tried a new phone, and a new SIM card, but now I’m locked in *because I tried what options I had,) and the house I’m moving to I can barely get any service.  Minimal text text messages is all I Can send out.  I did everything I can (new phone, new SIM, tried a different phone,) but now I’m locked in, and moving to a location where I can’t use my phone, but Koodo wants $1000 to get out of my plan.  What can I do?No, its not in the middle of the countryside.  It is right in Brantford, ON, and there is nothing to mess with the signal… I found out the neighbout had to cancel Telus because it only got worse.Should I go to the Better Business Bureau?

(I hope this gets to the right people as I didn’t see a better option for compliments & did not get to take a survey) I had a very frustrating issue about data usage as well as Koodo Assist and was very angry going into the call but Angelo from customer service went above and beyond to help me out. He was so kind and understanding through the whole process and all his efforts were super appreciated. 11/10 employee - he deserves all the praise! 

So my cat has recently gone missing and I just got two creepy calls from a private number. No words, just meowing.I want to get the phone number to look into this creep further. How can I get the actual phone number when it says “private number” on the call screen?

Easy roam activated on my phone but it is not working. I've checked all my add Ons and they are present.I can only use wifi or calling but texting does not work  Help 

It is possible to directly switch phone numbers between two lines already on the same Koodo account without losing either number?To be clear, that's having Line A and B, but I want to give Line A, B's number, and vice versa.Thanks.

Text messages from multiple financial institutions are failing - is it me or everyone ?Was working fine days ago.Now they are all failing but other text messages come through fine.Maybe a system problem on the other end ???

We recently bought a new phone through Koodo. My wife travels to the US often, and bought a US Sim, which works fine for data, and is supposed to work for texting/calling US numbers, but there is something with the phone that is locking it. We did not have this issue with the old phone, which was bought through Amazon. Koodo reps are overworked and underpaid, and a call back is 24hrs, so hopefully someone here can help me out. Thanks!

I’m just wondering why my daughters cell phone bill/data history is saying her cell number@msg.koodo is sending text messages, multiple times during different days. Does she have a phone I don’t know about? As we deal with a different cell phone company and have not seen this before.
