How do I get rid of it? Hope I don't have to make an emergency call and then have to listen to that message while I'm losing consciousness. Does anyone seriously think that I'm unaware? I've already purchased a replacement phone - from koodo. It's not as usable as my Blackberry, which is why I'll continue to use it right up to 4 January 2022.So will you shut off the damn message?
Hello Community,I just ported my number to some Provider because my previous Provider does not have coverage in my new area Iqaluit Nunavut. But I just realized even when I receive an incoming international call, I am being charged exorbitantly, please don’t ask me about the rate, hmmm. Aside, the monthly plan is quite high.I am seriously pondering of porting to Koodos as I have just been informed that Koodos has coverage here and your charges are also quite moderate.I started an online Chat and scheduled a call. Surprisingly, one 4 occasions, immediately the phone rang and I pick it, then the call cuts(or should I say it drops). I couldn’t believe it!I would like to find out whether receiving incoming international calls is charged on Koodos network too. And if so, please what it the rate? Network coverage is an issue back home I mostly call or asked my family to call me.I need the information to make up my quickly. I have read through more of the information but only this link ( h
Hi, I have a Koodo prepaid account. I am currently in Hong Kong and I need to access my CRA login.Apparently, I’ve registered my koodo prepaid number with my CRA account and am being requested to receive an OTA passcode. I have no idea what to do in my situation. Can anyone PLEASE HELP? I’ve read in other forums where others have similar issues and have been recommended to turn on “Easy Roam”. But I dont think this service is available to Prepaid customers right?
i use to be able to connect to the number, its an English cell phone number….when i call it now i get a message...1b1 the client you are trying to reach is not available…….its in a north american accent not english accent…..i can send a text to the number and she receives it. i can call all other english numbers, cell and landlines...just this one im having trouble with, i need this fixed. Her provider in England has tried everything there end so now i am trying here.
I am brand new Koodo user. the LTE/4G service so far is good, download speed around 10M, upload around 3M. browsing are good. I just found I can’t use any VOIP service through my phone. like Fongo, and even video and voice chat via wechat. My previous carrier is Fido. LTE/4G are similar service and speed, never had any issue with VOIP. Does it happen to anyone else? Thank you
We have recently purchased a phone for my daughter. our whole family uses the same last 4 digits. In the self serve option it only lets me pick the area code and first 3. If I contact support can they help me try and find the last 4 digits I am looking for. Koodo assist is not being helpful.
Hi, Need some help with transferring my details on my plan to my companies information, is there a way in doing this on self serve? or do I need to get a new sim? Can customer service reach out to my company to organise this as they are not able to get a call back as it only allows Canadian no. only. Thanks!
HiI live in Canada but I am in Ireland for a month. I cannot ring a rep from Koodo as you do not take international calls. I have tried verifying texts from my banking and I I not receiving the verification texts. So far I have:Turned phone on and off again Put Sim in correctly everytime I try to add the koodo or local network it won't l et me turn off emergency calls Network operator- emergency calls only and when I try to switch the toggle back it loads for ages and will not work or turn off I tried turning on data roaming. I have read every thread on this and tried everything but nothings working. Please help me try get rid of the emergency calls only toggle.
Tried to reach a human being 3 times at Koodo. First time, I try and navigate to a person. No luck. You are forced to use their Call-Back “service”; there is no option to talk to a human being. I set up an appointment. They call, put me on hold, can’t resolve my question so, I’m put on hold until a REAL customer service rep. is available. 20 minutes later….had to go to work. What is the point of an “appointment”?Set up a call back a second time….yep, they call. I get music. Then, I am told, no “service reps” available and they HANG UP ON ME! Click.Wow. Someone doesn’t understand that keeping customers is as important as getting new customers. Done.
Hi there! The past couple of days I have not been able to receive calls or text messages to my Koodo line. I can make calls, and send texts, and data works just fine. I’ve been with Koodo over a year so no porting, and my billing is up to date.I’ve reset my phone, reset the network settings, checked to ensure no forwarding/DND issues. It literally just stopped working and I can’t figure out why. I can’t take a call from support because I can’t receive calls and facebook support has been silent.Does anyone have any ideas?
