Can I change my plan If I'm paying for a phone on tab? Or am I locked into the plan I get with the phone? Also, If I am on a plan without a tab can I just add a phone tab to my current plan?
I am unhappy with Koodo and will be switching providers. I’ve been told I need to contact Koodo to instruct them to accept a number port request to my new provider. The only call back options are for a week from now. This is ridiculous… how can I get in contact with someone sooner?
Any ideas on why or how to fix poor 4G LTE signal strength? I only have one bar of signal strength throughout my whole house, lucky if I have 2 bars outside the house. I switched my iPhone to use 3G and I get full bars with 3G inside my house. I figured it was my iPhone SE 2nd Gen, so I upgraded to the iPhone SE 3rd Gen but still have the same poor cell reception.
I have a monthly prepaid data plan, 5 days before the next top-up, I ran out of data, what options do I have?can I purchase data booster adds-on to last me for the next 5 days without incurring expensive over usage charge?
This is what Mobiversity is telling me. Koodo has a strict 60-day refund policy?
I am just wondering how the streaming add on offer works. I already have a Netflix account, does my existing account just get connected to my Koodo account, or do I have to close out my existing account and just start from scratch with the Koodo offer?
I want to change lower plan like basic plan.however self serve does not show basic plan. I don’t have any contract left.
Hello there, I was double charged on a top up. I called and was told I would receive a refund — but no refund has been received and I can still see the extra funds in my account so it doesn’t look like it’s been processed. Can someone please contact me. Tiffany Low
I needed to make a single urgent international call to the UK today (not something that comes up frequently). But I find that I cannot enable it online (the option for international call activation doesn't show) and will now have to wait until this evening until a rep is available. When I call an international number I get the standard error message and a request to call *611 - but then a robot tells me I'll get a text for an automated service bot and does not give me the option to be forwarded to your call centre. This is simply incredibly unhelpful. The result of this is me resorting to seeking help here… I now won't be able to log a call to the UK today (it will be well outside of UK office hours). It's a bit of an annoyance.Could you please enable international calls from my device. Or at least unlock the service in my self-serve menu.
Hello community, I was looking to cancel the Koodo service plan but I can’t find anywhere how to do so. Any hints please? I tried the digital assist which is a pain in the neck and wouldn’t give the option to cancel. Worst service ever.
Anyone knows how to switch the plan from one phone to another? I am on esim and want to switch to a new iphone. Call back won’t be available for 2 days. How the f do we switch? Thanks
If I get a phone using the tab plan will it become an 'unlocked' phone after the 24 months? Also would it come with any kind of warranty?
Hi, I am in Europe for my vacation but my roaming is not working properly. I am in the local network but I cannot send a text message, it's saying error 8, what does that means?
I’m travelling overseas on Tuesday August 30th but the Assist is only offering call back on Wednesday. I need to turn off EasyRoam and International data. How can this be done this evening or early Tuesday morning?
I am SOOOOO old school. I have the basic plan and was told that my bill would be $32 a month. Today I got a bill for $82 Something to do with extra data charges. So what is considered ‘DATA’ ? Will I be able to use text anymore? If I didn’t need this phone for work, I think I’d just go back to a landline. 😣
My understanding is that I can still use wi fi calling while traveling internationally without incurring any extra charges and without using Easy Roam? Can anyone confirm if this is correct? And does this mean that if my phone is in airplane mode, I can still use wi fi calling? And secondly, can anyone tell me if I can access my voice mail, through wi fi, without incurring any extra charges and without using Easy Roam?(I’m not sure if this matters, but we will be traveling to Italy). Thanks so much for any help you can provide.
I have been charged an extra charge for DATA & SMS that I did not use. I did not go over my 250mb as i was never notified that i reached 100% like i have set up, nor was I asked to unpause data for reaching the limit like its suppose toPlease help me remove the charge from my Bill as i should not be charged for something I didn't use.
Seems like Koodo/Telus is countering Freedom Mobile’s prepaid unlimited talk & text $99 yearly plan. I just noticed Koodo has a “360 days” prepaid offering shown on the front page of the prepaid site, however there is no other info anywhere other than having to follow the “activate now” button. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/prepaid-plansIf I am understanding the verbiage correctly, if you prepay a plan (any prepaid plan??) for 360 days you will get 60 days “free”? This also looks like it’s only geared/setup for new customers/activations only. I did not see any offerings or abilities for current prepaid customers to switch to this.Any more details here would be appreciated.
I am on a Koodo Prepaid plan Unlimited SMS texts. When I go to the US will I be able to just receive SMS texts for free if I don’t buy a U.S. Roaming Text Booster? I don’t need to send SMS texts when I am in the US so I would like to know if I can just receive SMS texts for free while in the US if I don’t buy a U.S. Roaming Text Booster. From what I have read a Koodo Post pay plan allows free receive SMS texts while in the US but does a Koodo Prepaid plan so allow free receive SMS texts while in the US without buying a U.S. Roaming Text Booster? Thanks!
I have a Koodo plan that does not cover for picture and video when sent via text ($15 plan) due to minimal data, so we get charged. If we are connected to wifi, we should be able to send pics or video without getting charged, correct? Just got our bill and had $6 of charges from pictures & video but we are usually connected to wifi.
I am trying to setup call forwarding using the *21 then the number to forward to then the # key.Keep getting the call can not be completed as dialed.
I am having difficulty producing the postal that is required for setting up my self serve account. I was hoping someone could give me some advice I have tried the only two postal codes I would have used and it is still coming back as the wrong postal code. Is there a way to bypass this or contact Koodo directly as I would really like to register my self serve to access my billing information. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!
I’m on Prepaid. If I turn on call forwarding and then turn off my phone, will calls be forwarded?Or does the phone need to be on and connected to a cell tower?I understand that if I take my phone to the US I should be able to text and use data on TMobile 4G LTE, but I can’t receive/make calls. So I could turn on call forwarding to my home OOMA phone (Cdn# but we’ll have it with us in the US). But do I have to have the phone on and in Canada for the forwarding to happen after I’ve set it up.Thanks in advance.
