Hi,I am in India currently and trying to receive OTP on my canadian cell number but either I don't receive OTP at all or receive it after one day by which time it becomes useless (especially for bank and other login). How do I address this problem? I have not activated roaming but I see that my network bars show it is from Reliance Jio network (one of the most powerful network providers in India). So I think it is a problem with Koodo network.
My plan is/includes:I have my own unlocked iPhone 11 on a post paid, Unlimited International SMS and MMS , Unlimited LD service (U.S.) plan.Koodoo’s Easy Roam has increased quite a bit since I last used it at now $14 a day. With the number of days I will be traveling to the US, it adds up quickly so I have a T-Mobile eSIM for the trip. Koodoo says the Easy Roam charge is initiated by any data usage and I’m trying to avoid that so I’m not paying for Koodoo and my other plan. The tutorial on traveling with your phone indicates “ Since incoming texts won’t activate Easy Roam, just refrain from making or answering calls and sending texts to avoid activating Easy Roam again.“Questions (some sort of remedial):I am interested in activating call forwarding from my Toronto number to my US number for the time I’m in the US (which, based on Koodoo’s info can be done - to any number in North America with 1+) while making sure to avoid the $14 a day Easy Roam charge. Would turning off roaming in my
I have received the SIM card from Koodo, when I go into my account and try to port my previous number I get « Make sure to input correct number » for account number and the same when I try IMEI number. This is for a second service for my son on my account (his current provider is Public Mobile). Thank you!
More of a rant than a question.I've been eyeballing the S23 ultra and was ready to pull the trigger, not now. Got a promotional text for a $375 deal, logged in to check it out and the phone is now $858 with a $33 monthly tab, LOL, it was $455 on a $33 monthly before. So with the deal is going to cost $28 more over all with the so called deal, it definitely doesn't pay to be a loyal customer, been with Koodo for 7 or 8 years and I guess it's time to switch if I want a decent deal.Rant mode off!
I recently retired my Samsung Galaxy S7 and upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Everything went fine except my internet speed is extremely slow. I only get about 1-2 Mbps download. It used to show LTE on my old phone and this one now shows 4G-LTE. Is there some setting I need to change on my new phone to fix this? Thanks in advance.
Hello,So I logged into my account, I see that I can benefit from the 3 month 0$ offer of using Amazon Prime. When I click on the link, it takes me to the Amazon web page where it says that ‘Oups, your account isn’t admissible’. I’m using a 55$+ monthly plan btw.Thank you
I have recently found that my phone is being tracked and as I just changed the number without wiping my phone first, everything was shared through the tracking sub-program with the new #. I need to fix this ASAP and have already factory reset my phone. PLEASE HELP!
Ok we registered with Altimatel for service at a new residence on Oct 1, but because we were not moving in until Nov 6 we asked for service to start Nov 7th. Altimatel decided to send equipment to new address on Oct 3rd. When we went to get keys Nov 1st the was nothing in our mailbox even though Canada Post showed delivered. We contacted Altimatel and they stated according to them it was delivered and if the missing equipment was not found we would have to pay for it. This Altimatel is the worse company to deal with, they are sending new equipment hoping in time for activation date but the point it was their fault and they are going to try and charge us for missing equipment. Koodo needed to vent this company better as there are 21 1 star reviews on Better Business Bureau all stating how bad this company is!
I upgraded my phone with a purchase online and now I've received my phone but I don't know how to connect it.I have put in the SIM card and everything seems to work I've also checked with the Kudo assist that doesn't understand how to answer my question.I really just want to connect my new phone
I am in Mexico and my old Pixel 7 needs to be replaced. I am using an eSIM for Koodo and a physical SIM for the Telcel network. My new phone is a Galaxy S23 and I will be switching the physical Telcel SIM to it and using a new Koodo eSIM voucher to switch my Canadian number to the new phone. My question is, will be able to activate the new eSIM without being connected to the Koodoo network?
Hello, I am looking to port my current phone number from Koodo to Ring Central I am remote working for 6 months in various countries and am looking to switch to a VOIP system. When trying to port my current number over to them, we get an error message ‘The number you are entering is not portable as it is located outside of our service network.’Ring Central is saying I need to contact Koodo.
I’m trying to figure out if I should add Prime to my Koodo bill. I currently pay for Amazon annually, with my renewal due in July 2024. If I do this with Koodoo, how does it work with regard to that annual plan?Do the free 3 months activate in July or before that? If so what happens to the amount I already paid for up until July? Going forward I’d pay 9.99/month for amazon, or $120 for a year. Is there a way to do annual billing with Koodo or no? if so, the 3 free months just save me $10Anyone know? Thanks
I had Wireless Home Phone for my Mother in an Assisted Care facility. This is a great solution for seniors. My Mother no longer needs the service. Can I give away / sell / reuse the ZTE Hub?The only option I see for a new Home Phone line requires buying the hub again. Bring your own device doesn’t seem to be an option. Can existing or new Koodo customers use my hub? If so, how? Thanks
