I bought this sim for 3-4 months and received many phone calls, texts and messages to my number. They tried to connect with Ms.MELLISA HURLEY, who may be the previous owner with my same phone number. Even Amazon's address was under her address. It bothered me a lot. How can I fix this trouble? 

 

It seems the previous owner had registered the number with a lot of services under her name. You could try to chat with whoever call/text and tell them to find her number elsewhere. Another way is to to change the number again in self-serve https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/changing-your-phone-number


Thank you for your information, Dinh. Just a quick question: Can I keep the same number? I also place it in many services. It is too complicated to change another number. How do I  inform Koodo of this problem, and will they delete her information on the number of profiles?  TY IAD

If you would like to keep the same number, you would have to talk to whoever call you and tell them you are using this number and not her.

When a number is deactivated, it goes into a 90 day holding period before being made available for someone else. Unfortunately, Koodo doesn’t have much control over removing personal information from other systems  as they are different entities.
