I have received a mail from koodoservice@mailing.koodomobile.com. is this an official Koodo mail, or is this phishing?
Starting this afternoon the Koodo network no longer allows my phone to connect. My partner is also with Koodo and her phone is connecting to the network just fine which makes me think that something has changed regarding my account.I’m not overdue on any bills and I don’t see any activity in the self-serve.I have tried to schedule a callback with a rep but the service tells me they’re busier than usual right now and does not give me any option to proceed.Right now I’m concerned that I’m being sim-jacked and not being able to contact Koodo I can’t do anything about it. The usual low level of spam/phishing junk I get has recently stepped up and I’ve seen some worrying messages that are clearly not intended for me. It might be nothing or it might be a sign that something nefarious is afoot. Can anyone help me get in contact with a rep so we can look at the account activity?Cheers
Hi everyone, I am wondering if Koodo offers a "callback number feature while listing to outgoing voicemail greeting. I. e. This is Steve. Please leave a message after the tone or press (digit) to enter in a callback number. Thank you.At this point, a text would be sent to me with entered phone number.
Hello. I notice Koodo doesn’t have any Google Pixel phones available in their shop, and I was wondering if I buy a Pixel 6 this fall directly from Google, could I easily transfer the sim card from old to new phone and go about my merry way, or do I have to make sure the Pixel 6 works with this network? I vaguely remember something about certain phones not working with certain carriers. Thanks for any info.
Hello, I’m having major problems with text messages (SMS) I cannot send text messages and/or I have to re-attempt 3-4 times. Is it possible to have my calls forwarded from my old number if I change to a new one?
Hi allIs the outgoing server still smtp.telus.net? I am having trouble sending. The port used to be 587 for starttls? No sign in required as long as I connect via Koodo LTE?If a sign in is required, how can I reset my password? That might be my problem. Thanks!Rick
Just signed my son up for pre pay with koodo on my old iphone 8. He can only send and receive texts when he’s home and connceted to wifi. The plan doesn’t include data so I tured it off on the phone. Incoming and outgoing calls are working just not texts. Help please!!!
Firstly I do NOT have EasyRoam while travelling to Mexico from Calgary. Can someone please clarify in each case which would be roaming and which would be local while using my Koodo phone abroad. Making Call/text back to Calgary while in Mexico Making Call/text to Mexican number while in Mexico (same town) Receiving call/text from Calgary while in Mexico Receiving call/text from Mexican number while in MexicoI am under the impression that if I call home to Calgaryfrom Mexico that it would be considered local and I would not incur any roaming/LD charges.
I have 2 phones OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 5 currently on Telus network. I would like to replace the OnePlus 3 with an iPhone 11 on Koodo and transfer my OnePlus 5 to koodo linking them to the same account. Is it better to wait for the iPhone and have it in hand before setting up on Koodo or transfer both OnePlus phones, port the numbers right away and then just move the one sim card to the iPhone when it appears or does the sim and the iphone ship together?I am trying to get it right first try 🤔
I ordered a koodo plan online and I was able to get it today. It was approved and shipped last week and I was able to setup my self serve account with the number they gave me before even getting the sim card in the mail. While it was still the long weekend,I changed my number online and it says it should reflect to my sim card automatically so then I received my sim card today but its still showing my original number vs the one listed on my account which was the number I chose. How to fix this?
My Plan has limited outgoing minutes. Can i use my home WIfi network to make Wificalls and it will not count against my outgoing cellular minutes?
I noticed a few days ago that despite being on my own Wi-Fi, somehow I still used almost 2GB worth of data… This put me eerily close to my limit. Therefore I turned off data on my phone, yet for some reason my data usage is still increasing…How do I completely disable my data to prevent going over the limit until the month resets?
Up until recently, I had my number “unlisted”. Why did this change? It affects my business because now I have to deal with calls in front of customers I am in attendance working for… They are not happy when I have to answer call on their dime! Why did Koodo suddenly and without warning change this part of my agreement? There are now several customers out there who think it’s okay for them to call me while I have my hands in a 600V cabinet. It was necessary for me to have a private number.
Just trying to find out if it’s possible?
My phone works again after the problems earlier today, my partner's still has no service.Missed multiple important calls and texts not happy
HiI’m a newcomer to Canada, so my card is still foreign, so I can’t buy on Koodo online. So, I’ve got no Canadian card, and no SIN yet.I want to know if I when buying my SIM on store, will I be asked for local credit card, or SIN number or any other document, I want to know to avoid lacking of such document when I go to the store. Thanks.
I’ve had the wireless home phone for about a year now and have had no real issues until now.About 2 weeks ago I no longer got a dial tone.I have connected my handset directly into the Alcatel hub - no change - still no dial tone. The battery is fully charged and I get all the bars lit up for the signal.I have tried logging into the home phone at 192.168.1.1 as per the user guide and am not able to reach it (no response).I have no network issues.I have tried pinging 192.168.1.1 and receive no response.I have a standard network config. My Telus router is located at 192.168.1.254 - so no conflict there and I have no other routers on the network.Any suggestions?
Hello. We are in India and I am unable to use the Koodo Mobile outside. I have the roaming enabled on phone and in the account i have both of the add on's in the online account. I restarted the device many times, removed SIM and reinserted it. Any help. I cant even call Kood and self serve is of no help.
I have called koodo and they helped me transfer my old phone number to my new one phone and i even got a text on my old phone saying it was successful. Now my old number isn’t working on my old phone but the new phone still has a new number and won’t switch over to the old number i want. I tried scheduling a callback from koodo several times but since is to my old number, i’m not getting any calls on either phones.

I'm using an LG. I live in Toronto. My data and wifi work perfectly fine but for some odd reason I can't make or receive phone calls.
Not able to make/receive calls here in Kingston! Was working ok last night. Been having "garbled" or broken voicemail for the last several weeks as well.
My mother has been trying to access her Koodo account, but no longer has access to the email that was used to register her account. She cannot access self serve. Is there any way to access her account in this scenario?
I’m currently overseas in Israel and cannot connect my Koodo sim to any of the mobile providers. My phone works well with a local SIM.I don’t have Easy Roam enabled as I just want to receive an urgent OTP SMS. I tried restarting my phone multiple times as indicated in other similar questions but it doesn’t help. When selecting to try to automatically connect to a network is just fails after a while.
