I noticed a few days ago that despite being on my own Wi-Fi, somehow I still used almost 2GB worth of data… This put me eerily close to my limit. Therefore I turned off data on my phone, yet for some reason my data usage is still increasing…How do I completely disable my data to prevent going over the limit until the month resets?
Up until recently, I had my number “unlisted”. Why did this change? It affects my business because now I have to deal with calls in front of customers I am in attendance working for… They are not happy when I have to answer call on their dime! Why did Koodo suddenly and without warning change this part of my agreement? There are now several customers out there who think it’s okay for them to call me while I have my hands in a 600V cabinet. It was necessary for me to have a private number.
I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G phone and I switched over to Koodo. After receiving my first voicemail on the phone, a notification showed up. So I called the number, set up my voicemail as prompted, and then deleted the voicemail. But the notification didn’t go away - it’s been stuck on my screen for almost a week.I’ve tried restarting my phone, clearing the data and cache of the phone app, even leaving myself a voicemail and then deleting that one. The notification just won’t go away, even though the system says I have no messages every time I call.How can I get it to work properly? Thanks for any help.
I have a Koodo Huawei and have just purchased a Koodo Samsung. I have put the sim card into the new Samsung. I do not seem to be able to transfer Koodo network access from my old phone to the new phone. I cannot sent text from my new phone and phone calls are still coming into my old phone. Both have sim cards in them, but I have turned on airplane mode on the old phone. How to I connect to Koodo?
HiI’m a newcomer to Canada, so my card is still foreign, so I can’t buy on Koodo online.So, I’ve got no Canadian card, and no SIN yet.I want to know if I when buying my SIM on store, will I be asked for local credit card, or SIN number or any other document, I want to know to avoid lacking of such document when I go to the store. I’ve had the wireless home phone for about a year now and have had no real issues until now.About 2 weeks ago I no longer got a dial tone.I have connected my handset directly into the Alcatel hub - no change - still no dial tone.The battery is fully charged and I get all the bars lit up for the signal.I have tried logging into the home phone at 192.168.1.1 as per the user guide and am not able to reach it (no response).I have no network issues.I have tried pinging 192.168.1.1 and receive no response.I have a standard network config. My Telus router is located at 192.168.1.254 - so no conflict there and I have no other routers on the network.Any suggestions?
Hello. We are in India and I am unable to use the Koodo Mobile outside. I have the roaming enabled on phone and in the account i have both of the add on's in the online account. I restarted the device many times, removed SIM and reinserted it. Any help. I cant even call Kood and self serve is of no help.
I have called koodo and they helped me transfer my old phone number to my new one phone and i even got a text on my old phone saying it was successful. Now my old number isn’t working on my old phone but the new phone still has a new number and won’t switch over to the old number i want. I tried scheduling a callback from koodo several times but since is to my old number, i’m not getting any calls on either phones.
I’m currently overseas in Israel and cannot connect my Koodo sim to any of the mobile providers.My phone works well with a local SIM.I don’t have Easy Roam enabled as I just want to receive an urgent OTP SMS. I tried restarting my phone multiple times as indicated in other similar questions but it doesn’t help. When selecting to try to automatically connect to a network is just fails after a while.
We received a text from Koodo through Everbridge and are trying to verify if this is, in fact, from Koodo. They said that calls from our phone to Haiti will be temporarily free (assuming due to the earthquake). Seems great but would like to confirm. Have asked for a callback but wondering if anyone else has received or heard of these texts. TIA
I want to return my very defective XsMax. - received last week. First email response asked if I wanted a return or exchange.I want an exchange but want to know how long it will take and what the process is (I thought exchange was not possible based on the website).No response.Tried booking a call back on the CHAT (buried very deeply through a digital rep) . I did not receive a call back at the scheduled time this morning.This phone had a defective screen. It is a brick now- useless. I cannot get a rep on the line because the system insists on sending a text message to my phone WHICH I CANNOT USE.I need to get this return / exchange process returned. Can someone help me please?
Hi there, due to an injury and becoming handicapped a few years ago, my credit is less than stellar. Actually had my order for a new sim card cancelled today because of it.Is there a cash deposit I can give to secure a monthly payment plan, or am I just going to be referred to the prepaid plans.I would also like to add a previously used phone, but would like to know what I can do to make this happen. Would a credit card in my name help?
I went to Samsung store to upgrade phones for 3 lines under my account over the weekend because the lead time for delivery was too long.For online orders, connection fee was waived, but Samsung store could not remove the connection fee of $50 - they told me to reach out to Koodo to get it removed from the bill.Kindly remove the charges from next bill ffor all three accounts. As well, I want to exchange my Samsung Galaxy S21 to iPhone 12 because some apps I use were not working from S21. Please let me know how I can do that. My line is the phone # ending with 5252.Thanks,
My question is primarily to Rikkster. You may recall that I have a BBz30 that I required a new battery for and you provided a Company that I could get a new battery from. I did and it worked and works just fine. However, as you know the BB 10 are not going to be anything more than a paper weight according to a text message I received from Koodo. My question is what would you advise me to buy, that has a similar keyboard function (turn sideways for larger letters) and somewhat the same features as the z30 ? Thanks for any recommendations from you or anyone else. It would also be nice if my current sim and the separate one I store pictures on would work.
