Hello; So I'm looking at ordering a phone to replace my current one. However since I've never ordered a phone online (always done it in Koodo shops) I've some questions as to how this will go. First of all let me start by saying I'm no "techie" and after looking at my questions this will become painfully obvious. 🙂What does activation entail when buying a phone online? How does one activate ones new phone through this process? Is it done at the time of order or is it as simple as me inserting the sim card when I receive the phone? Is there a time gap/delay between service? I know when I order in the shop everything is done seamlessly so that when I walk out of the shop I can use my new phone immediately. In addition to buying a new phone I also want to change my plan from my current to another with a visual VM add on. I'm assuming that the current plan is associated with my current sim card so I'm guessing that means that I'll be sent a new sim card with the new phone? BTW, what hap
I received an email from Koodo with instructions on how to return my phone. But there was no printing label attached. There was a link but it was broken, went to a 400 error. Do I need a label or will they print one at Canada Post? Do I need to provide an address? There is a Telus return policy number. Is this all I need?
I ordered a new iphone 11 from the website. When it arrived the life time usage timer claims that the phone has been used for 3 hours of talk time. Also, the serial number starts with F therefore it is used even though it appeared new. Has anyone else experienced this?
I’m a new customer… my phone arrived amazingly fast - I ordered yesterday and just got the phone now. But the problem is that I don’t have a phone number. So I can’t register for the Self Help options to be able to get the phone set up and my existing number transferred.I think there is supposed to be an email with my new phone number but I haven’t gotten it yet? Any way to figure this out? The chat bot doesn’t like any of my questions!
Last Dec,21, purchased a refurbished iPhone XR. Didn’t use it for the first six months. Finally started using it and the lower microphone isn’t working. Just spent a lengthy night between a Telus store and the Apple store only to get no help. The Apple store did confirm the phone isn’t working and that the Apple warrenty did run out but both Telus and Apple says not something they can help with. I still have warrenty according to Koodo but no one can give me any answers. Need some ideas.

Please note: Billing for upgrade orders will start as soon as your order is approved.My question is: Will I be paying for the new phone “tab” before I even get it? The order can be approved and I don’t have the phone yet?
I am considering upgrading my phone using tab mid. The website states that plans start at $50 and my current plan is $45. Do I need to get a more expensive plan just to upgrade my phone using a tab? or can I upgrade my phone and keep my existing plan but just pay the tab fee monthly?
Hi, I have seen others posting about having problems while trying to buy a new phone online. I tried via my phone and via a computer and two different browsers and the it gives me an error message before or right after entering the confirmation code. I know my card isn’t the problem. I wonder if this problem is solvable online. There is a deal right now until July 4th and I’m afraid I'll miss it. I’m not going to be able to go in person at koodo before then. It is a little frustrating. Thank you!
Hi, I have purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S21 5G mobile from Koodo, and within 2 months the device stopped working with abrupt behavior. The mobile is getting switched off and when I am trying to switch it on by pressing power button the screen get appear with “SAMSUNG Galaxy secured by Knox Powered by android” (start screen) and this initial message remains on the screen till the mobile battery get drain off and finally it's getting switch off. I have tried these several times but am facing the same issue and can not proceed further.
I have had several conversation with Kood reps and this issue was never resolved, so I am trying this platform as a last resort. this is the story:back in November of 2021, I ordered a phone from Koodo. And signed a new agreement with them. The phone never arrived, so in December, I called and asked why. They said there are some supply issues, there’s no phone right now. Just wait. Ok cool. NP I understand it’s not their fault. Come January, still no phone. I called they said there was an issue with the shipment and they started an investigation. I said cancel the order and give me a refund, they said we can’t do that without finishing the investigation. I asked what happens if I cancel my account right now. They said if you cancel, when the investigation is over the money gets credited to your account and since the account is gone you will receive a refund automatically. So I said ok, let’s cancel. couple months go by, I check my credit card statement no refund. I call, ask what ha
I ordered a new phone on June 16th. My tab balance has changed and in self serve it says that I have ordered the phone. I never received an email with a confirmation so I cant track the order. I did check junk. When I try to use the chat it asks if I received the email, I say no, it says if your order went through you will have received an email, check your junk. If I try to respond to that message it acts like it is a new question assuming that for sure answered my problem.
I want to buy a new phone as mine is 7-8 years old and starting to show its age. I have no tab going right now. I tried a week ago to buy a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S10e, and had no issues - until I had to enter the confirmation code texted to my current phone. I entered it, pressed Enter, and then the screen went blank. Nothing happened after that. No email, no confirmation text, nothing. Figuring it was a bug, I waited a week and then tried again - except now there are NO S10e appearing online at all, new or refurbished. So I try to get a S10+. SAME ISSUE. I got through the entire checkout process, confirm to keep my current plan, choose tab, etc, and then enter the code texted to my phone. Screen goes blank, no emails, no texts to confirm an order. What is going on? I do not have the time to leave work during the day to go to a Koodo store to purchase in-person. I’ve been a Koodo customer for a long time, my current phone was purchased refurbished online without any issue.
