I am currently in BC going to Vancouver Island, since I am near the USA I got a message saying welcome to the USA and that my phone is roaming. I really hope that I don’t get charged for roaming because I am NOT in the USA. Please help, thank you (:
I’m trying to buy a phone online on my current plan, and when I switch the phone’s condition I get this error where phone prices and plans should be. I’m frustrated with my current phone and I’m unable to buy the phone I want because of this.
I am trying to install an Airalo e-sim on my iPhone 11 and when I try to add it, I am seeing the following message: “Your sim is not supported. The SIM in your old iPhone does not support eSIM transfer. Contact Koodo for assistance.”I need this to work urgently. My Carrier Lock settings says “No SIM restrictions” so I am very confused and frustrated. Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi!According to this article: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchersKoodo now supports eSIM Quick Transfer, including the ability to convert a SIM to an eSIM on the device without a voucher:Existing customers:To convert a physical SIM card to an eSIM on the same iPhone using eSIM Quick Transfer, go to: Settings > Cellular > Tap Convert to eSIM > Tap Convert Cellular PlanWait for your eSIM to activate. Your previous SIM card is deactivated when the cellular plan on your iPhone activates. Remove the physical SIM from your iPhone. Then restart your iPhone.Note: Apple eSIM Quick Transfer requires iOS 16.4 or newer I don’t see the option “Convert to eSIM” in Settings > Cellular, and I am running iOS 16.4.1 on an iPhone 12 Pro. My line is prepaid, but this same article says “Any in-market Koodo rate plan (prepaid or postpaid) is available on eSIM”.Any reason why the “Convert to eSIM” option would not display?
Can't go onto call control my account. When I go into manage account and go to call control it just keeps saying "page isn't working, koodomobile.com isn't able to handle your request". What's going on?
Why did I not receive a notification alert by email for my last bill, I am now faced with a late charge. I have been receiving the alerts since I switched to KOODO last summer.
I have used preauthorized debit from my personal bank account to pay my Koodo bill since day one with no issues.I recently changed the preauthorized debit to my company’s bank account (same bank as my personal account).According to my Koodo account, the preauthorized payment is enabled but I get emails from Koodo saying my bank has declined my preauthorized payment. I have been in contact with my bank and they claim there is nothing from their end preventing preauthorized payments from working.I’ve tried removing the preauthorized payment from my account and re-entering it (yes, all the banking details are correct), and it doesn’t work. I am able to make a payment from my bank to Koodo and I suppose if I have to I can set it up from my bank’s end, but I would rather do it from Koodo’s side to ensure the full amount is paid each month. Plus, it worked fine before, so I’m not sure what’s going on.Help!
Hi, I was just wondering, I got an extension on my overdue balance of $196.31 for May 29th but then I also got a payment arrangement for my outstanding balance of $264.35 for July 4th so do I still have to pay the overdue balance by may 29 or is everything due by July 4th
I recently added data for the first time to my plan, and am concerned about managing it. On checking my “data preferences” page it still shows me as having “pay per use” data and states my data will not automatically be paused when I reach my limit. Shock-Free Data alerts You've opted not to receive any notifications or to have your data paused when you reach your limit. Additional data will be charged on a pay-per-use basis. If you'd like to change your preferences, please schedule a callback with one of our reps at www.koodo.com/chatPay-per-use data roaming alerts You'll get text alerts for the following pay-per-use (PPU) data roaming charges:$25$50$75$100( PPU roaming data will also be paused )Only users with permissions or access to Self Serve can unpause data and allow additional data to be charged on a pay-per-use basis. I requested a call-back as it says, spoke to a rep who ASSURED ME that data notifications are on. I waited until the end of the billing cycle and rechecked my ac
I just changed phones and plans and suddenly all my voicemails are going to text as an audio file. I do not want this. I want to hear them through the voicemail part of my phone. My Husband is also getting this. He has a brain injury and does not use text at all. I found an article which tells me how to activate instant voice mail (which we did not do), looked through my add ons and it is not listed. How do I get rid of instant Voicemail?
I upgraded a plan on my account for 50gb Instead of 20gb. When i log into my account it shows 59gb but I haven’t had any more data it is asking me to purchase more for 25$/gb and tells me I’m still at 20gb. When can I expect for the change to take place it has been more than 24 hours
I am unable to make phone calls or use mobile data. My bills are paid up. I’ve restarted my phone several times.
I saw Koodo has new offers for plans with higher data usage, however, it won't let me choose one that doesn't come with a tab and a new phone purchase. How do I shop for a new plan but get to keep my own phone I just bought last year?It doesn't make sense that Koodo won't even let me pick a new plan and keep my phone.
I want to set up data alerts but when I try to do it through the chat it just loops me back to what is below. Any idea how to set up?Thank you.
Hello,I have been looking for contact information for Koodo. can someone here please help me. I travelled to the states and didn’t realize there are 2 “free” easy roam options. International and US that are not activated automatically for some reason… if its free, it should be enabled by default? would be a nice Quality of Life option for the customers… I hate these dirty tactics.anyway, I turned on Easy Roam US for the 1 day i needed the phone. I then turned Cell Data off as well as Data Roam, and they stayed off. but for each day I was in the States my account shows a 1min call each day for $14 charge each time. how is this possible? I made 1 call, 1 day and thats it… I didn’t make any of these other calls. I would like to talk to someone from Koodo about this. :(

Hello fellow forum members,I hope everyone is doing well. I'm reaching out to you today from sunny Brazil, where I'm currently residing for an extended period. I've run into a small predicament regarding my Canadian banking services and I was hoping someone might be able to lend a helping hand.To give you a little context, I already have a perfectly suitable cell phone plan here in Brazil that's cost-effective and covers my data needs. I don't require a phone to make or receive calls. However, my issue lies in the fact that my Canadian bank requires me to have a local Canadian wireless number to conduct wire transfers for my company. I only need to receive SMS messages from them, replying isn't necessary.I've looked into the daily plans and they seem to cost around 16 CAD per day, which is exorbitantly high for me considering I only need to receive occasional SMS messages.Does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable and affordable wireless plan from Koodo, or perhaps another Canadia
Is there anyway to remove the roaming option? I don't want to be charged $14 every day my son uses his phone in America when he only uses it for a minute or two.
Hi,As the title, I would like to switch from current one to a cheaper one, but self-service opion only shows the same price or above. Right now I am using $40 but I wish to use $39. What can I do?
Hello, I am not able to receive or make calls. When I attempt to do so, or someone else does, there is an automated voice telling me to dial *611. My account is active and I am not sure what to do. Does koodo have a number or an email whom I can contact? Thanks,Anupam
I have to say, after all of my complaints about logging into my Prepaid self serve, that the last couple of times it opens in about 20-30 seconds instead of the 5-8 minutes it took previously. So kudos to the Koodo techies that finally got things together to correct the problem.
I accidentally paid my bill twice as I didn’t think the auto-payment was going to come out bc I added it so close to the due date and the notice said it would be pulled 10 days before the due date. So I paid through self serve and seen after 2 payments were made. Who do I contact to get a refund on one of the payments as I need that money for other bills
Rogers have had their service enabled since 2017 in this particular tunnel, but all Telus and their sub brands have no access and I'm not even sure who to ask if there's any plan in doing so. https://www.iphoneincanada.ca/2017/12/27/rogers-skytrain-wireless-evergreen/Everytime I passed through this tunnel (almost daily), my service died. Makes me want to jump ship once my plan agreement is over.
