During black friday, I signed up for the $55 plan with black friday credits of $25.   I signed up for the plan only with my own device.   Now I need to replace my phone and I am looking at a Certified Pre-Owned phone on a basic tab.   

I was going to order it online, and it allowed me to keep my $55 plan, but then I started thinking about whether it would mess up the credits or not.  I just wanted to understand this before proceeding.  Thanks.

It is a complicated situation, Although your plan were above $55 but after credit it was only around $30, below the threshold from Koodo. As well, that plan was signed up as a BYOD plan, I am not sure if they changed the restrictions on that plan or not.

@BoxerMom The bill credit, as long s you keep the same plan, shouldn’t drop. And indeed the best option is to upgrade online as you will save the $50 connection applied in stores.
