I have tried to call Koodo but they stopped the “Chat “ Feature. Now I just get standard answers like check your blocked caller list.  

I have to keep resetting my router and modem 

For years now, I have tried and been unsuccessful in troubleshooting call quality issues with Koodo.  I always have to go through all the same steps, resetting all network settings and losing wifi passwords each time which never makes a difference.   Tried 2 new SIM cards as well.  Something I found here in a thread locked to new replies is that Koodo and Telus disable the SIM setting to prioritize WiFi calling.  Prioritizing wifi calling is the recommendation that comes up most often online when looking for solutions, yet of course this has never been mentioned during troubleshooting as it appears that it is intentionally blocked. Most places indoors that I use my phone have only 1 or 2 bars of cell service.    Even though I am also connected to strong wifi with fast speeds, the wifi is not being allowed to fully take over phone calls and the 1 bar of cell network is constantly fighting for priority.  If I am already on a call when the issues start happeni

Since installing Koodo internet 3 months ago, I have been having DNS issues. Specially not allowing me to access Salesforce and Talkdesk as well as other websites randomly.I have already tried changing to common DNS servers like Google and Cloudflare, and while they allow me to access the previously mentioned sites, they are both slow and laggy. It is possible for Koodo to address the default DNS issues?

I ordered a new phone because I lost my old one and I have ordered a new one (Galaxy S25).  I have been paying for the use the whole time and still can’t connect to the network.  What do I need to do???

I transferred my number using the self service.It shows up as the new number on the account and i received confirmation that transferred has been successful (18 hrs ago).However when i call or received calls, it shows a completely different unknown number (different from the original Koodo number and different from the transferred number).I rebooted the phone. no change.Any idea why? Thanks

Any tips on how to contact a live person from Tech Support directly via facebook messenger or email? ..bc that appears to be my only options at the moment. I sent multiple messages in Koodo facebook messenger, all with no replies (it’s been hours). Then, very inefficiently, I was able to contact a live person thru Koodo Assist which took 2-hrs to conclude that Tech Support will contact me. So, I was bumped back to the bot that had me select an appt time and informed me that I would be contacted within 30-min of this time. It’s over an hour past my scheduled time, and no ‘callback’. ‘Luckily’, I had space to focus on online errands and work today to get as far as I did. It looks like I’ll probably have to travel 80-min to the nearest Koodo provider on another day, despite repeated promises that this issue will be resolved ‘today’. 

i recently activated a new account with 2 phone numbers and tried to port 2 numbers. The first number seems to work fine on the iPhone, sends and receives using the ported number, but the ported number does not show up in my online profile. Instead, the online profile shows the temporary number that was assigned at registration prior to the port. The second line shows the ported number in the online profile but the phone is not connecting to the network. The network bars read SOS. It has been more than 24hours since registration. Any suggestions? I’d like to talk to a live agent but can’t seem to register for a callback.

When I receive calls from my office on my cell phone, a different caller name appears than when I call my landline.The name showing on my cell phone is incorrect. I’ve confirmed the number is not saved in my contacts, and other mobile users are seeing the same incorrect name.In researching i can see there are 3rd party apps i can download, i do not use any of these (ie. Hiya).Is there a registry or database where I can register my office number to ensure the correct caller name is displayed?

looking for advice in selection of replacement phone, there is very little to go on. I used to find at least advertising  direct  links  to each phone  Advice  hard to find, my son  has the same s23 but it  is  far better  pictures  and  speaker  .I need  a phone that takes a higher quality photo to upload and  possibly create  video  for business use. I dropped  mine in  paint it is too bad  phones  didnt  come  eqipped  with  plug  gaskets. for the ports it still  works  but the port  , not so much , a port is  good option  for backup  charging  Now  I cant  even upload . Should   I switch to apple or  continue in  android, Should  I really have two phones  for  security or  an extra line to separate work  from  recreation

I locked myself out of my sim card and it is asking for a PUK. cannot really do a call back at this timeAnd since a rep is required to get the PUK any help is apprieciated. Thank you

We just got a new SIM card for my sons Iphone and the SIM card is hung up at the registration part. What is going on and how do we activate the new SIM card?

Good afternoon,I have an Iphone 14+ and I was having issues with it before Christmas and it was sent away for repair.  I know have the phone back and it keeps shutting down on me.  Today alone it has shut down 8 times and it completely drains the battery  from 80% to 10% or less in a matter of seconds.  When  they repaired my phone they said they replaced the battery but it is working terribly since the repair was completed.  Under settings it tells be to “Finish your Battery Repair” but when I do it tells me that the battery is not recognized.  Not sure what else to do here as the phone is still under warranty. Thanks,Nathan

My 18 year old daughter’s currently in Thailand. We were hoping this would be a great trip for, and she needs something great because she’s only now coming out from intense grief for her dad, my husband, who died about a year ago. She dropped her phone in the ocean and it’s lost. She’d kept a voicemail message on her phone from her dad and loved listening to his voice over and over again. Is there any way this message will have been stored with Koodo? I know this is a long shot, but I’m grasping at straws here..

Hi all!Looking to have some clarification on this as I’ve had issues with other service providers in the past. I would like to bring two phones to koodo that both have NS (902) numbers. We currently live in Quebec and would like to keep these numbers. Will we be able to port our numbers to koodo even though they have area codes different from the province we live in? We have received varying answers from other telecoms and have been blocked from doing so in the past. Hoping that koodo doesn’t have any issues with it. Thanks!

I'm trying to schedule a callback because my internet is out and none of the troubleshooting is working. The bot is stuck in a loop when I click schedule callback then tech support. It just asks to schedule callback again then I click tech support and it just goes over and over 

I switched from Bell to Kodoo and transferred my number. I got a confirmation that the number is actually transferred. With Bell my number was linked to a physical SIM card; with Kodoo it’s an eSIM. I don’t know if that’s the problem. I can receive calls and can call back but can’t make a call by dialling a number.In my settings (iPhone 16 pro) under SIMs I have a Personal line with my transferred number and a Secondary line with the number Koodo assigned to me. The personal line seems to be still connected with Bell, at least it says so in my Settings. Can I just delete the secondary number/SIM and hope that the problems will solve itself?Any help is greatly appreciated! THANK YOU

Looking for advice….  Am a new Koodo user and also have a new IPhone 17 Max, what should I be using for text messaging, RCS or SMS - I don’t always know what type of mobile someone has, so am confused.  When I has sms on, my messages came back not delivered., and at least one person has an iphone, and the others are various.  Should I be using RCS always?  Any help would be appreciated.
