My number cannot be used anymore after switching back from vacation mode

Almost a month ago after switching back from vacation mode, I found my number cannot be used to call or receive calls or texts anymore.  I arranged a call back from self-service, but never received a call. I assume it is because my number cannot be used. Is there anyway to reach Koodo other than your own number? Has anybody else experienced something like this after switching back from vacation mode?

That is strange. Did you make your payments on time? Have you checked your bill for any outstanding balance? You may need to dial #227 to speak with the billing department and see if the balance is past due. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/past-due-bill

Thank you for your reply. I always paid my bills on time. Is there a number that we can call to talk to someone at Koodo?

For a while now there is no direct number to speak with a rep, you now chat over the phone through the callback system you attempted. However, there are reps on here and other platforms who can assist, we just have to confirm some things first.

First, can you elaborate on vacation mode? - Are you referring to a seasonal hold plan while you travelled? If so, once you choose a new plan, try restarting your device and see if that helps.

Second, when you check your Koodo-self serve, is the account still active / does it tell you anything is wrong?

How did you switch back from vacation mode? 

 

Can you try restarting your phone after after switching back from vacation mode?

While in vacation mode, did you use a travel sim or esim in the device?
