do you get free calling between account members on a prepaid koodo plan
I will stop using Koodo's number. How can I return the balance in the account?
I just wanted to talk to someone and now I can’t get a call back until Friday? that’s ridiculous. My prepaid account was double charged for my normal top up. It said it failed the first time said my account was not charged, so i did it again and it said 70$? So it obviously was charged. I just want help to get half of that back and preferably before Friday. There should just be a number we should be able to call.
I have contacted koodo prepaid support reps before regarding port protection and was told that port protection is not available to prepaid customers.I placed another call yesterday and spoke to a prepaid support rep about my concerns. The rep proposed a process which I agreed to, whereby a note will be added to my account which requires the koodo porting department to go through an extra verification step prior to implementing a port out.This is not a perfect solution but at least it presents an extra hurdle against illegal porting of a prepaid line.
I struggled to purchase an iPhone online with Koodo self serve.Can prepaid user buy iPhone at all (from Koodo’s online Shop)?Every time I logged into my prepaid account, and add phone to my cart, it requires another login.Do we have to become monthly user in order to buy phone?
Hi, My wife and I have been using the $15 prepaid plans for quite a while, and have used the automatic top-up for 10% off each month. Now that that discount is no longer available, I’m wondering if an upgrade to another prepaid package would eliminate that benefit. I have no intention of touching the top-up setting for my account, but am not sure if that kind of action would be unavoidable in the upgrade process. Anyone tried this? Thanks.Chris
Hello,Can you please add the 250 MB Data - FREE, to my Current Data Boosters, that is included monthly? I have just switched my SIM card over to a newer phone that can access the Internet, etc. in a better way than the old flip that is being retired.Or, is there something that I should do on my Self Serve login to make this happen?Thank you for your help with this.Allan
Why is the website advertising Prepaid Sim cards for koodoo for $10 in their stores and on Amazon...Go to store they want to charge $20? Call support they say only participating stores, so i go back put in my city and the store I was just at popped up. Beyond frustrating and they also sent me to Telus to buy the card which was a whole new level of hell.
Are my boosters transferred if I change my base plan? These are boosters that are paid for, not one included in a promotion .
I have just activated my prepaid. When I logged in self-serve and tried to port over my Koodo post-paid phone number, it would not let me.It says to contact customer care. I have scheduled a call back for Koodo and they still haven’t called. Why am I not able to do it myself on self serve?
On Sep 22, I had $20 balance. Added $50 and I had $70. Changed my base plan to $45 per month. So $45 was deducted from the balance and I now have $25. There was a charge of $56.50 on my credit card on file - Koodoo Topup Reapprov 866-xxxxxxx AB on the same day (Sep 22). What’s happening here and who authorized this? I didn’t sign up for auto top up.
My Dad, a senior, only uses voice calling and uses very few minutes. I got him the $15/month plan that has 100 minutes. He probably won’t but if he runs out during the month does his phone just stop working? This is what I want because he could leave his phone on and have a massive overage. I have bought him a 100 minute booster just in case he goes over with regular usage but he hasn’t yet.Thanks!

I was referred to purchase a prepaid plan and went into the Telus store to do so. I forgot to give the referral information when we were setting up my account in the store. Koodo will obviously know this is true as my sim and phone were activated yesterday. Is there a way I can provide Koodo with my friend’s activation code after the fact? I tried doing so today but it did not work. Thanks for any assistance.

Does anyone know the prepaid plan promotion offer, with the 1GB bonus booster. Do you get the 1GB every month or just a one time thing? And also, say if I switch from lucky mobile to Koodo prepaid plan, would I able to keep the same phone number?
Data Usage on phone shows heavy usage during a time I was far from any tower, WIFI only. Koodo warned me I was running out of my GB booster. Can I find out what Koodo has for my usage?

What happens to any unused minutes on my basic plan at the end of the month. I am not talking about add-ons just the basic 100 minutes on my plan does it carry over or will I start with another 100 minutes at the start of the next month.
I’m thinking of getting an unlocked iPhone SE (2nd gen), but I want to confirm if it will work with Koodo prepaid BEFORE I buy it. When I look through self-serve FAQs it asks me to put in the phone’s IMEI, but I don’t have this since I haven’t yet bought the phone. Can you please confirm?-JM
I have been a prepaid customer with Koodo since June of last year. When I activated my account, I also purchased the Canada-wide Talk Booster 600. This month, for the first time since switching to Koodo, I ran out of my normal minutes. Now, I can’t use my phone because it’s not accessing the 600 minutes I still have left in my booster account. When I log into self-serve, it says the minutes are there but I can’t make any phone calls.Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!
I signed into my prepaid account and went through the steps to add another 600 minutes like I always do. I finished the steps and paid for the top up but my phone still does not let me make calls.
