My credit card was expired and it ended my stream + today so i resubscribed to it with my updated Credit card but amazon automatically resumed my existing yearly prime membership as before it would hold my existing membership and let stream + be the primary method of the membership when trying to re-link stream + i get this message from amazon “You already have an active Prime membership on this account.Existing Prime members are ineligible for this offer.” i have like 200+ days left on my annual and i spoke to amazon and they were useless and referred to Koodo. any help would be appreciated
I have two phones on my plan. When checking usage only one phone is showing text activity even though it has been used. Not using messenger. Can this be turned off or why would this happen?
I have a previous account, i had it active in 2023, but i closed it down when i went out of the country. I want to access the old bills. is there a way to do this?
I have a postpaid line on my account and would like to add a prepaid line for a youth - is this possible on the same account?(I understand different email addresses are likely required for each line.)
I bought a SIM card today from Telus (Koodo) to activate my old iphone. By accident, I gave the email address that I used to register my husband’s phone last fall. The email password doesn’t work because Koodo Self Serve wants me to reset the password. I select this option and am supposed to receive a 6 digit verification code via text (or email). The code never arrives. I have tried multiple times.I am going to have to cancel the service if i can’t access this. Can anyone help?thank you
My mother subscribed to Telus TV+ along with Internet and cell. Once the boxes were received, I went over to install everything, added the app on her TV, but she only gets a fraction of channels she was told she would get. I've called 6x to get assistance and have failed miserably to resolve the issue. We even purchased a Fire Stick as we were told it may be a solution which was a waste of money. I live 40 minutes away and am a farmer so leaving my home to go resolve her TV issues is not done easily. This problem has been ongoing for almost a month now, and she is now considering canceling everything. I would like a technician to go see her, Koodo or Telus should provide these services to all Seniors instead of leaving them to deal with this. PS - Mom’s phone, internet and Telus TV+ is linked to my own Koodo account.
The Clear app (clearme.com) is used for identity verification by many companies and organizations. It works by scanning a government ID such as a driver’s license or passport, then comparing the photo on the ID with a selfie captured using a mobile phone. I recently tried to use Clear with LinkedIn and it failed because, according to CLEAR Member Services, Koodo doesn’t provide the identification of the owner of the mobile phone number.I’ve used my phone for other similar situations (e.g., CRA and even Koodo) and had no problem. Has anyone else experienced this or know why this is occurring?
I have a family member on a monthly plan who cannot access his account and can’t view his bills. This is due to a combination of factors:He forgot his password. The email he used to create his account was deleted due to inactivity (and cannot be created again) and therefore he cannot recover his password. Since starting his plan, he moved to a different province within Canada and no longer has the last 4 digits of his drivers license which is apparently necessary for Koodo customer support to verify his identity. What are his options? He is essentially being held hostage at this point, getting billed each month, with no way to view his bills or make changes to his account.
In preparation for travel to Europe tomorrow, I used the recommended self-serve procedure by texting 7626 to buy a “30 days Europe for $60” international roaming plan. It will start when I connect to the first European carrier. So far, so good. But once I completed the texting, all of a sudden I got five (5!) emails from Koodo telling me “You’ve updated your Koodo services:”Added: International Data roaming Price per month: $0.00 Added: International Voice roaming Price per month: $0.00 Added: Easy Roam US - PayPerUse access On Price per month: $0.00 Added: Easy Roam INTL - PayPerUse access On Price per month: $0.00 Europe Easy Roam 30 Day Pass Price per month: $0.00All wanted, and all I am prepared to pay for is the last one. Why did I get 5 emails with all these plans on it? And what will my bill look like? If this is not correct, is there something to be done right now? I am not travelling to the US so I really don’t need EasyRoam US.
It will be my first time doing a longer trip outside of Canada. I saw an "Unlimited talk and text 14 days Europe for $50" which seems better than a daily Easy roam charge. I have never used this before and I wondered if it is for local calls and texts in the country I'll be in, or if it includes calls and texts back to Canada.
I want to get the 7 day travel pass for when I am in the Caribbean. I need to make sure my phone number is set up for this? I also want to ensure I will Not be charged for easy roam as well as travel pass? How do I ensure I’m only charged for travel pass? Do I have to change anything in my settings to ensure I don’t have additional charges.? Can I text and make calls with the travel pass. Thank you
I am unable to make outgoing SSH (secure shell) connections from any of my computers (to outside machines) when using the Koodo router. If I switch back to my previous service (Bell, still active), everything works fine. Seems to be something in the router’s firewall settings, but neither setting “All other ports” to Outgoing nor even turning the firewall OFF has any effect. Is there a way to allow outgoing SSH connections with this router? To be clear, I am not trying to SSH _into_ any of my home computers from outside, nor an I am trying to SSH into the router. (These are the questions I found asked quite often, but I found nothing regarding my situation, where outgoing connections are blocked.) Or do I have to get my own router to bypass this one’s limitations?
I just subscribed to international minutes 1000 per month on my Koodo plan and have run into an issue on the first call - I tried a UK landline number and get the 11b1 message. The minutes were active from yesterday and the landline is functional for other other users. Any ideas what's going on there? Thanks
So I have a plan that only allows me to text within Canada only and I was wondering if I was using like rcs would that change it so I can text into like say USA or would I still get charged per text that I send with rcs?
I just returned from the Apple Store where my iPhone needed a physical fix as it was, ironically, not connecting to cellular networks. My phone now has regained that ability, but as part of the fixing process all the data had to be erased from my phone —including the esim data. The phone has been restored from the backup but the esim data is apparently not included. How do I regain my esim info so I can return to using cellular services?
if I text someone who has a US phone number, but is also in Canada, will I get charged
I am trying to set up mobile billing on my iPhone so that I can charge in app purchases to my Koodo bill. If anyone knows how to set this up, please let me know.
Hi , i lost my phone about a month ago and luckily i had phone protection plan with koodo.Back then i started using my old phone untill koodo send me a new phone.I had to travel for business back then and returned yesterday. Koodo sent me a new phone and its been sitting in my mail box all these days.Would my phone protection plan still be valid if i start using it now ? Hello, I have unlimited US+Canada plan(Talk+Text+Data). I have been transfered to my USA location office. Can I continue using this plan for unlimited time as long as I pay my bill and connect to a partner network here in the USA? Is there a time limit as to how any days can I be outside of Koodo network?
