I see when I visited US I wasn’t charged the EasyRoam $12/day, i was charged by the data and calling i did. I’m going to Europe in 2 days and I want to use the Easy Roam $15/day, not the pay-per-use. In my add-ons I added “$15/Day Easy Roam INTL”, but I also have “Pay-Per-Use Intl Long Distance, International Voice Roaming, and International Data Roaming”. It won’t let me remove those. Will I be charged by the data I’m using when in Germany or the $15/day??Thank you The error I get when I try to remove any of these is: “Oops! Some add-ons can't be removed. Please go to koodo.com/chat and enter '#AssistSS' to schedule a callback, and a rep will help you with this.” And of course, I can’t get a call back and it directs me here.
Hi i got a new iPhone. Both phone run iOS 16. try to transfer existing esimtransfer between near by phone : „no phone numbers found“ do I really need to buy a new esim everything I buy a phone?
Hello, My voicemail had been down for a few days. I receive a “call failed” message. It appears a reset from a rep will fix the issue. I have a callback scheduled for 2 days from now but if this would allow this to be fixed faster I would appreciate it. I have work messaged piling up and its slightly inconvenient! Thank you in advance for your help.
I am a new Kodoo customer and during in-person SIM-card activation I agreed to set up pre-authorised payments via my credit card. Under the impression of not having to think about it I did not realize the payment was not delivered on a due date, thus I was stripped of 25 points on my credit score. I am upset that it happened despite my attempt to avoid this exact situation. I read that it is more effective to reach the information provider directly rather than through a dispute. I’m hoping my situation can be helped. Please advise
Can I make extra payment on my tab bill ?
Why does Koodo threaten to cut me off over such a minor bill? No other companies cut you off over $70 overdue. Is this just how Koodo does business or is my account flagged or something?
I am trying to change my phone number and don't like the options Self Serve provides. Talked to customer service and they said there's nothing they can do. I found a service online called NumberBarn that will sell me a number that I want. They say on their site to check with your carrier if they will accept a port. Two questions: 1) Does Koodo accept incoming number ports from NumberBarn?2) Can I port in a number to replace my existing number (and keep my current plan)?
I did not get a callback a month ago so I'm wondering how to freeze my service so i don't get charged.
I change my base plan on September 29 from $50 to $25 but they charged me 3x on Sept 29. Pls help me, I’m new here. Here is my billing statement.
I want to transfer my wife’s Koodo postpaid number to a Koodo prepaid number. I am the account holder. The reason for the switch is for a couple of reasons. 1) my wife’s health has deteriorated drastically and we want a basic service. 2) we need to save money on our cellular usage. Is it a simple process that I can do at home? I do have a Koodo Prepaid SIM card. Lars
Im locked out and need to add time with a new bank card can u help
I am in Germany and have both “Data Roaming” and “Mobile data” turned off on my Samsung phone yet I have an “R” showing above my service bars to indicate my phone is roaming. I received a service alert from Koodo yesterday. Are these issued each day the phone is roaming and what further can I do to prevent this?
On my account I have International data roaming and International voice roaming enabled and will be traveling to Bulgaria for two months. I will use wifi for data and won’t make calls from my Android phone but I will need to receive text messages. I will have my Canadian cell phone with Koodo sim card and another phone that will have a Bulgarian sim card and number. How can I can I receive text messages on my Android cell phone with Koodo sim without incurring the $15 a day charge? If I leave International data/voice roaming enabled on my account will it automatically charge me $15 for the day if I receive a text message from Canada? If I turn off International data/voice roaming will my Koodo phone receive text messages? I’ve seen on the web site that there is a $0.60 charge (I assume that is for sending a text) and a $0.25 charge for incoming text under the pay-per-use. Is this correct? Will turning off International data/voice roaming on my account switch my International us
I am on a bring-your-own-device post-paid plan and I have recently purchased a Google pixel 6 to replace my old Samsung. The Pixel 6 comes with only one SIM card tray: I want to switch my phone number to eSIM to keep the one tray available for local SIM cards when I travel. To my dismay, the dude at my local Telus-Koodo store tells me this is not possible: that there needs to be a physical SIM card in the phone and that eSIM is only for additional lines (???) This is contrary to what the Koodo FAQ page says... What game are they playing?
I am a prepaid customer frequently operating outside of the cellular network (travel to the remote north or outside of the country). Many apps and programs require 2-factor authentication. Is there any way to access my text messages while I'm outside of the cell network (eg via the internet)?
Hi everyone!I'm travelling and will be living outside of Canada for 2-4 months every year. I'm outside as I write this and I have been unable to log into several of my accounts(banks, etc.) In Canada as I can't do a 2FA as I'm not receiving texts. Here's my question: can I receive texts intentionally with my Koodo number on easyroam free of charge or will I be charged $12/day or wherever the amount is these days? If I'll be charged then what is the best alternative for me to receive 2FA texts without having to pay $12/day for them? I have a local number here so can I use that to forward all texts to this number? Thanks!
Ever since I switched from Telus to Koodo, my data is used way faster, what gives?
I am currently on a monthly plan but I will be out of the country for 3-4 months. Thinking of changing to a $15 plan to keep my number alive. However I can not do it online because $15 plan is not an option online. So does it mean I have to switch to a different carrier in order to achieve this? Thinking Virgin Plus.ThanksJames
I am currently using easy roam in Mexico City (CST) and later today I will be taking a flight to another state in Mexico that will have a different time zone (PST). Will I be charged twice today because they are different time zones? Or will I still be able to use the easy roaming with only one charge today until 11:59pm CST (because I started today’s roaming in the CST time zone) although I will be ending my day in a PST time zone still within the country of Mexico?
Just picked up an eSIM from a Koodo booth. It is now $25 + tax. Not sure why an eSIM is more expensive than a physical SIM ($5).
HelloI got this msg twice and I input my credit card info. after that, I’ve thought it would be a scam. I didnt doubt it at first since it sent to mynumber@msg.koodomobile.com.but yesterday, cash advance was used with my card. :(anyone has this experience?
Hello everybody, I have been an expat in Canada (Québec) until May 2022 and I’ve had a Koodo account until December 2021. I canceled my account shortly after. Now, for some strange reason I started receiving e-mails at the same address I used to register on Koodo in the name of a fellow named Richard Lafontaine, who would have recently registered on Koodo. I keep getting newsletters, information about the service, the last email I received was an invoice for $152. Since I don't have any Canadian cards that I registered in the old account, it is virtually impossible for them to steal money from me. However, I wonder what is going on. Is an attempt at identity theft taking place? How is it possible that I am receiving emails to an address I deleted 10 months ago?I need help as soon as possible, thank you
I was quite late to paying my koodo bill due to finical issues at the time just recently I have paid my bill in full but my service has not been restored yet (its been a day now) Koodo has mention my account has been canceled if that affects it. I'm not sure if my plan with koodo is complete cancelled so I can find a new phone provider or not, its honestly quite hard to come in contact with a human rep to address my issue. I came here hoping for a easy solution thank you.
I've been hacked on one of my social media accounts. The individual is trying hard to get my phone number from friends. Assuming they can do some damage with my number like porting it out or something. I have an account pin for my koodo account, does that provide any protection from getting my number stolen?
Bonjour, Est-ce que je peux payer l'acompte pour un nouveau téléphone avec la valeur d’échange de mon téléphone actuel que je veux échanger?Merci
