You might, unless you switch off roaming in your phone and also select Koodo as your network manually.

So how do I do this? Is that in my settings? 

Yes, what phone do you have? Try to find Connections - Mobile Networks (that’s on my Galaxy phone) and switch off Data roaming.

I have a Galaxy A20.  I have the data roaming turned off, it says network operators is Koodo 

Click on the Network Operators.  It is likely set to automatic and Koodo is automatically selected.   You need to turn off Automatic and manually select Koodo (it may take a few mins to search for networks.

Note this may change back to automatic after restarting or turning off your phone.
