I am currently on Fido and was looking to move to Koodo. But before I move, I wanted to know if Koodo supports International Wi-Fi calling. I travel quite a lot and would prefer not to incur any roaming charges while making calls over WiFi internationally.
Just switched to this plan. The easy roam my wife uses for a trip to Mexico, she would no longer have to use, as it’s now included. Awesome! She use to text CAR7PASS to 7626 to turn on the week long easy roam. She used this same one on her last trip to Cuba. That implies that the Mexico roaming would also include the Caribbean and / or Cuba. The question is: Does that mean the Mexico part of this plan includes the Cuba and Caribbean?
Hi everyone,I’m planning to activate the 360-Day Prepaid plan and need a clear answer before I proceed. My main question is:🔹 Will I receive incoming SMS messages while physically located in the United States on the 360-Day Prepaid plan?Additional details, just for clarity:– I am asking only about incoming SMS (not calls and not outgoing texts).– Mobile data and data roaming will be turned OFF.– No Easy Roam or add-ons will be enabled unless required.I’ve seen mixed information online, so I’m hoping for a definitive confirmation from someone who knows this plan well or has real experience with it.Thank you!
Hello,I have an iphone11, which is not compatible with 5G. All the new plans that Koodo offer say that they are “at 5G speed”. Does that mean that my phone will not be able to use them? Or will my phone simply connect to 4G and the plan will work?
Hi so recently I finally decided to claim my free perk, and this might be silly to ask but I got the $0 Unlimited International SMS and MMS perk, does that mean that when I'm in Canada I can text people from like the us and anywhere in the world whenever I want and not be charged? And that I can get messages from them and it be free?
are there current plans i can get WITHOUT setting up pre-authorized* payments? I want a new phone and therefore need a new plan but all of the ones available to choose from say that they are only with pre authorized payments which I refuse to do.So how do I get a plan?
Anyone know how to remove the ability to make long distance calls? Someone random caller, called me from US; I don’t even have a recollection of calling them back, but now I have a charge of $0.80. I want to remove the ability to make calls outside of Canada. How can I do that? I tried removing the add-on myself, but I am unable to. If it helps, I use an iPhone 14 Pro, on iOS 26.0.1. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
I'm currently subscribed to Amazon Prime via Koodo. I'd like to upgrade to Music Unlimited. Will the upgrade get charged to my Koodo account or to my credit card directly?
I want to buy EasyRoam Travel Pass for Belize but I do not see it listed. Has it been missed or is it under a different name.
I run a small business and the number of clients that have my personal phone number is getting out of control. I would like to get a new phone number for my personal line and use my existing phone number for a prepaid plan. Is this possible?Hopefully this makes sense:I am currently on a monthly, postpaid plan with Koodo - let’s call this phone number A. I would like to get a second, prepaid plan using Phone Number A. I would like to keep my existing monthly plan using a NEW phone number. If I sign up for a prepaid plan, is it possible to swap numbers between the two lines?
Hello, during my recent trip I used a 30 day Europe pass and assumed that this covered me for the EU countries listed. I made a call between EU countries and was charged long distance rates. It does not say anywhere in the Travel Pass or Roam like Home pages that intra-Europe calls are not included, and the text I received when I entered the country implied that calls to other countries were included. Could you please review the charges or point me to the FAQ that would have stated this? This is one of the pages I reviewed: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/easy-roam And the text I received said "REMINDER. To make calls to Austria (Country Code = 43) and other countries, dial "+" followed by "Country Code" and the number (e.g., +43-XXXXX-XXXXX)." Since I purchased the EU plan, I assumed this meant I could call another included country. Thanks for your time!
I'm trying to find out what countries are included in this add on but there is no list anywhere on the Koodo site including my self serve and add ons page. It simply lists1000 Intl LD min Bonus V2 for $0.00
I have had Disney activated for months, was working fine. Now today when I log in to Disney Plus it asks me to complete my subscription. I check my stream plus on Koodo self serve, it's paid everything is good. I go to the activation page, says it's been activated and only has the launch option for Disney Plus which, again, takes me to the complete subscription page. This happens on browser or app on any device so reinstalling won't work. It appears Disney Plus doesn't consider my account as having a subscription and I can't activate again because the option is gone.
The TELUS Films & Series, and 50+ free streaming channels aspect of my plan has refused to activate. it's over 10 months now and I cannot use this feature in my subscription. Please help
Hi,I set up a callback with Koodo Assist regarding switching from monthly to prepaid. I was called, then offered different monthly plans but told the rep that I was only interested in prepaid. She said she was transferring to the appropriate department. The man I spoke to asked me for an RFID or shortcode and said he only dealt with new customers from in-store, and I told him I was an existing Koodo customer. He said I was misrouted and that I should call 1-866-995-6636. I called and the automated system told me I need to use Koodo Assist, and hung up.Help?
I will be travelling to Eqypt. I see that I can use Easy Roam in Egypt. However, Egypt is not listed under Travel Passes. It seems strange that Easy Roam works in Egypt but not Travel Pass. Is this correct?
I booked a KooDoo Europass yesterday but did not want this to commence until Wednesday September 24th. How do I change the start date of this service?
On the website I am trying to fins out what countries are included in the International Long Distance perk.I am probably being dumb but I can’t find the page where it shows you which countries are included. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Thank you
Im currently on a plan that says it includes Canada and US Roaming w/ data, talk, text.I recently switched to this plan but I still seem to have Easy roaming enabled. When I came to the US and turned on Roaming I got a text saying im going to be charged $14 a day for Easy roaming.I dont understand how I can have both. Do I need to disable Easy Roam as to not be charged and use what is included on the plan?
I can see how much it will cost for me to send a text from Thailand, but what will it cost to receive a text? Is there a charge for that?I’m going to get an eSIM for data but I want to be sure I can still receive text at a reasonable rate for 2FA etc.I’m on a monthly plan.
I'm going to Switzerland and am considering purchasing the 30-day Easy Roam Travel Pass for Europe. The pass says it provides unlimited talk and text, and I can use the data included in my monthly plan. I have the following questions:Does unlimited talk including both incoming and outgoing calls within Switzerland and to and from Canada? What number will callers from Switzerland need to dial to reach me, i.e. do they need to dial 001 ahead of my ten digit number as they would when I am in Canada? What number will callers from Canada need to dial to reach me? Just my 10 digit number as usual? What do I need to dial to call Canada (do I need to include the 001)? What do I need to dial to make a call within Switzerland (do I need start with 011 41 then they area code as I would from within Canada, or is 0 + area code + number sufficient as it would be from a Swiss phone)?
The titel says it all… thank you! :-)
We will be purchasing a 30 day europe travel pass and have the following questions: Can I call and text my travel companion who has a Koodo travel PASS and what about other travellers who don’t have a Koodo plan? Do we use our regular phone numbers. Can we call or text from one country to another covered on the Europe plan? Can I assumethat we leave Roaming on while using the travel plan. Thanks Montiric
Hi, I ordered AND activated my Europe 30day Travel Pass on June 20th current year when I stepped foot in Europe after 7am on my current time zone (6h time difference so it was June 20th in Canada as well). My plan gives 20gb data + unlimited calls and texts. I tried calling my voicemail today and I get an automated message stating "your international calls are barred, please contact customer service". I had access to my voicemail a week ago. The 30 days from the Travel Pass should last until tomorrow July 19 included, current time zone. I found online that it could be from my phone settings, which I haven't changed recently. Why are my international calls suddenly barred? Is there a place I could find the password to bar/unbar calls in my phone settings (never touched that before, it's 4 unknown digits) to see if that is in fact the problem?
