If I port out, what happens to my stream+ sub?

Haven’t been given any decent black friday deals on self-serve, and my promo credits from 2022 have ended. Planning to go to a physical location/third party retailer later today to see if there’s any promo deals loaded on my account, but if I don’t see any good deals like the ones lots of people seem to be getting (or at the very least, something close enough) I’m planning to jump ship.

I have a stream+ sub with Koodo. What happens to that?

Do what’s best for your use case. ATM the main carriers Rogers, Telus, Bell, and their owned brands like Koodo have matched each other by tier of brand (Rogers, Telus, Bell) and Fido, Koodo, Virgin, and then the respective third levels. You might not find much different unless you qualify for EPP deals.

You’re supposed to have a Koodo cell phone line to have stream+ but the reading of the fine print to me indicates that you can retai it, but lose any credits or deals without staying with Koodo.

Hi there,

So your stream + subscription will stay active you just lose your credits on it. So for being a koodo customer you save $5 on stream+ but if all the lines on the account leave then you no longer receive the discount. In that case, stream+ premium will be $38 a month and stream + basic will be $20 a month. I hope this clears things up 🙂 if others are still on the account and only you leave, then the price will stay the same 👍

Edit: seems like Goran got to it 😅
