I received instructions on how to top up data yesterday and that overages will be waived on a later bill. However top ups have run up my tab up to $242 so far and now I’m getting a request to top up data every 3-5 minutes. Is there a limit and how many top ups I can do or how much they’ll be able to credit me for
I have two accounts with two plans, two phones and two phone numbers, one $50 plan 5GB and a $47 plan 8GB. No tab balance on either. I want a new phone for the $47 account - can I consolidate the two by adding a line to one account? If I add a line to the $50 account and order a new phone ($24 tab), can I migrate the phone nunmber from the $47 account and close that account? What will my total new monthly cost be?
So i want to change my plan to have more data. My cycle resets on the 28th, at 12:00am.Since today is the 26th, if i change it today would i get a high proration charge? I assume not, but i want to be sure.If not today, what if i change it tommorow on the 27th? Or on the 28th- would that be a bad idea? What would be the best course of action to avoid or minimize fees?
Koodo did not comprehend my reason for calling & I am still confused. Getting text msg that Koodo is providing additional data, followed by a msg that I have only 10% remaining and must buy additional data. Given the impacts of hurricane Fiona, no power, no internet and totally relying on cell data this is very distressing. So Koodo is using pressure tactics to extort its customers at a time of emergency.
I'm hoping someone can please verify that the 4, $25 1GB add ons I added to my account will be covered in the "Fiona fees coverage". They weren't very clear on how their waiving the fees. I got a text that my data was paused and no other way to unpause it other than to add top ups. Foolish me added 4. Then came here. Does anyone fully understand how this fee waiving is going to work?
I have had a koodo prepaid account for several years. Recently, I have been using up my data boosters more quickly than I would like, so I want to upgrade to a plan with more data included. The problem is that I have auditory processing disorder and never make voice calls, so I do not want to pay for unlimited calling that I can’t use. My current base plan includes 250mb data and unlimited text, but no talk time, which suits my needs. There don’t seem to be any comparable prepaid or postpaid phone plans available. The closest thing I can find are tablet plans that require an active phone plan. Is there any way to sign up for a data plan on its own, or to trade the unlimited calling for extra data?
Pay-Per-Use International add-on not available through self serve. Unable to make international calls even with add on package
Pay-Per-Use International add-on is not available through self serve. I have the 1000 Mins add on package but still unable to make international call. What is the fastest way to activate this without waiting in the que or waiting for a call back. This seriously needs to be improved.
I recently upgrade plans in order make it easier to work from a city other than my home. I plan to attend a video conference meeting by audio only by dialing in. However, it is long distance.I tried to get details on the cost of long distance, but it doesn't show up on my plan:How does one navigate to the details on long distance rates?
Help please. I’m trying to add on the $5 international long distance saver (to make calls to Portugal) via the Self Serve menu but everytime I click to buy the add on it tells me to buy a phone. I just want to actually ADD-ON the service. What am I doing wrong?
Hi all! We are trying to add a US plan to our CND phone, we can’t seem to do it and the “book a callback” is not calling us back. We prepay monthly if that helps. I have tried to just add the $12/day plan but it won’t allow me. We leave Sunday am and have been trying to do this for 4 days now, any ideas will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
When I log into Koodo to “Shop”, it seems that the only options for a bigger data plan are to buy a new phone. How does one navigate to options for increasing data *without* buying a new phone? Is it possible to buy more headroom temporarily? If I just use data and run over, I automatically get an extra 100MB for $13, which is too small and expensive.
I used to use wifi calling on my Pixel 6. I just bought the iPhone 14 Pro and I’m trying to enable wifi calling but when I do, it just returns a message saying “To allow wifi calling on this account, contact Koodo”.I would love to contact Koodo, but I can’t. I can’t make phone calls due to my hearing, yet I can’t seem to contact Koodo in any way. The only option is to schedule a callback, which I will not be able to answer. This is the least accessible company I’ve seen. 😡Anyone know how to resolve this or get assistance in a digital way (chat, email, text, etc)?
