Problems with Prime on Stream +

I am having problems with Prime video on my Stream + account.

I called Prime customer service, they told me I would have to talk to some one at Koodo about it.

This makes no sense, but, is it true?

Is there some one I can call about issues with Prime? If so, what is the number?

Indeed that doesn’t make sense. Through Koodo you pay for the service, but that’s all. Next time you reach out to Amazon support, if the next rep says the same thing, I would insist on a technical support issue needing to be handled by an Amazon rep. Hopefully you won’t have to.

I have downloaded a series onto my laptop so when I am not home during the week I have some thing to watch.

Lately these shows are downloaded with a foreign language. One show the other week had Arabic. The show this week is in Italian.

My main language is default as English, yet, I get foreign lanuages.

Also, while trying to play these videos, it will not play. I get the error “problem loading this video” and just get the buffering circle.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the app many times. Shut off the laptop, restarted...

When streaming, can you select the correct language? Do you have a language preference option under ‘Downloads’ settings? Is this happening on multiple devices?

Unfortunately, we have no direct access to the Prime Video platform so any troubleshooting for technical issues would need to be confirmed with Amazon support.

When streaming it is not a problem. Just when I download. My default language is English. I check every time before I down load. But, I go to play it back and it is in a different language.

I will call amazon again tomorrow. I don’t think the lady I was talking to today understood what my problem was. She just said right away that I am signed up to Prime through Koodo, and I would have to talk to some one there. Which makes no sense to me.
