Code 13B1 error

Not able to make international calls. Newly activated postpaid. Long distance perks added. All other free add ons like data roaming, call roaming added. 
restarted device more than 5-6 times. 
 

any ideas ?

No. I can’t see pay per use add on in my self serve both in added list or available list.  The free perk i have add is unlimited long distance calling (Get unlimited long distance calling to 27 countries including the US, China, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Bangladesh, and the UK from anywhere in Canada.)

Thank you for confirming. This is the reason why you’re not able to make international calls as you need the add-on to call international numbers. India is included in the list of countries for the perk so you will be covered as long as you call from within Canada.

If there is an error where it is not showing as an available add on for you to add in self-serve, then you will need the assistance of a rep to manually add it for you. This can happen sometimes.

You can reach a rep through Koodo’s expert messaging via Koodo assist from 9am to 9pm local time during the week. They will be able to add the add-on for you. You can use the Koodo expert messaging here: Support Homepage | Koodo Mobile

Hi there,

Under your plan add-ons, do you see the “Pay-Per-Use Intl Long Distance” add-on as well? As this will be required to make international calls. If you don’t, you will need add it. Once added and you restarted the device, you should be able to call international numbers.

Also, for the perk, can you confirm it is the “unlimited long distance perk pack” that you have as your perk? Just wanted to check so that you don’t start making international calls and get charged a lot of money as that perk does not seem to be offered atm on Koodo’s website. Note that with that perk you can only call the included 26 countries while within Canada.

Error is fixed now by a Koodo Rep. It took around 30 mins to fix. Scheduled call back. 
 

Added “Pay per Use long distance” Add-ON 

& “Koodo VoLtE” add-on from his side. 


He also switched my added perk to roll over data and back to 26 country long unlimited long distance perk during the process to erase (or reset) the error code

Awesome, I am glad they were able to add the add ons and get you up and running. Weird that they had to do the perk switcheroo but hey as long as it works 😅
