Locked iPhone

If I am already a Koodo customer. I bought a phone that is also with Koodo but it is locked.

Am I able to switch my SIM card to the new phone since both are with Koodo? Or does it still have to be unlocked to do so?

If the phone was locked to Koodo, you can simply put the SIM card in it and use normally.
