How to get a refund when I ported out from koodo

I ported out from Koodo in Black Friday. And my account balance get a adjustment because of the change. Now I have extra money in my account, which I should get a refund before the account is deactivated. What should I do right now? It seems the online agent is slow though. Maybe go to the koodo reception in mall ?

Can't register a second new phone

I am new to Koodo and just got 2 new phones. The first one is mostly set up but I can’t register the second one on Koodo self serve. I’ve tried 3 different emails and 2 cell numbers and I’m not receiving any email or text with a verification code. The phone has a new SIM card and I’ve successfully loaded all the settings and apps from my iPhone backup. The phone is showing Koodo as the new carrier and shows the temporary number they've assigned - because I can’t register and port my existing number. I can’t receive or send texts. I requested a call back but that’s nearly 48 hours away and I need the phone for work. Any ideas for a workaround?

Just switched to Koodo from Telus (iPhone15) in Canada.I can’t place any outgoing calls. Upon dialing the number and trying to place the call within Canada, the screen immediately turns a shade and a “call ended” message flashes.Have activated LTE (switching from 5G on Telus). Not sure how to fix this.

Incorrect invoice to what was agreed on

Hi,Since opening my account two months ago, both invoices have been incorrect to what was agreed upon. Two iPhone 16 plans that should have been totalled as for the first line $55.38 ($29 service + $26.38 tab) and $49.38 ($29 service + $26.38 tab - $5 credit) for the second line have had invoices that exceed this by a significant amount. I am over paying close to $20 dollars for each iPhone 16 line for two invoices now. Could this please be addressed?Thank you

Different number sending text

I just transferred my phone number from our previous provider to Koodo yesterday. I’m able to send texts and calls to the old number with no issue. However, when the phone sends a text it is showing a different number. How do I fix this? I haven’t done anything yet with our previous provider because I wanted to be sure Koodo was working properly.

Wrong plan price

Hi! I signed up for the $27 prepaid base plan with unlimited calls & texts and 20 GB, with promotions for an extra 5 GB and the third month free (see pic). However, in my account it says that I’m signed up for that exact plan, but at $29 per month (see pic). I was also charged $29 (see pic). The website doesn’t even offer a plan at $29 per month (see pic). How can I correct this and be charged for the plan I selected at $27 per month? I don’t want to change plans in the Self-Serve on my own because I’m worried I’ll lose the promotions. Can you help?

My Samsung Galaxy phone app is blocking a number that I never blocked

My Samsung phone app blocks calls from a number that I never blocked. The person is in my contacts. The number is not in my blocked list. In my phone app settings “Block unknown/private numbers” is off. I only block high risk spam calls. There are no blocked numbers. The person tried phoning 3 times. Each call shows as “Blocked call. Declined by phone”. The person was able to leave a voicemail. The last time they phoned me was in November. That call was successful. How can I unblock this number?

Hi i purchased a prepaid esim from koodo yesterday. But then i found out that my phone isn't compatible to the esim. So i was wondering if i can just buy a physical sim card and switch/add that prepaid esim number to the physical sim card? Or i should just contact the customer service and ask for a refund? And why is it that hard to get to the customer service?

I posted in here a while ago (post was deleted? I can’t find it) about my internet subscription page on Koodo showing the wrong information. I got an email from Koodo on December 19 that they were working on my subscription, I assume in response to my post. I was away until last night, but upon plugging everything back in and re-connecting, I’m getting a “connected without internet” message. I’ve restarted the modem and router, and reset them, but nothing has worked. All lights on both are green, as normal. The only abnormality I can find is that the modem webpage is showing the current time as January 1, 2020, and I can’t update it.However, when I connect to the black box itself with an ethernet cord, and bypass the boost, I apparently can connect?

Discrepency in Offers

I had a test offer from Koodo offering me a S24 FE at 0 cost. When I phoned in to Koodo to ask questions as it seemed too good to be true...they could find no record of the offer although I have a screenshot of the text. I ended up paying $140 which is still a good deal but it is bothering me that I can’t get this discrepency sorted with Koodo. Store couldn’t help, online callback would mean I couldn’t show them the offer. I tried to Facebook door and they seemed interested in helping except their ‘authentication’ seemed to be down. Any idea how I can get the answers of why I couldn’t get the original offer.Been a customer for 10 years and manage/pay for 4 phone lines.Love Koodo but this is frustrating.

Koodo doubled charged me a bill I know I already paid and have proof I already paid but Koodo Assist is useless and I cannot talk to a human agent. Anyone else getting screwed over like this? Any ideas?

I am a resident of AB. But I am temporarily living in NS. My cell phone area code is also 825 in AB. I have always used the tax rate in AB. But when I just ordered a new iPhone and it was delivered to my temporary address in NS, I received the tax rate in NS for my cell phone and data plan. I would like to ask, shouldn't my tax rate be determined according to my area code?
