Is this a scam?

Received a call from TDS LLC (437)-294-0894 claiming to be doing feedback calls about the Telus/Koodo network. They offered discounts for two years but I had to give them access to my account by changing the password to it. I stupidly fell for this part. After almost 30 mins of being on hold, being told about promotions and a trade in offer, I was requested to pay a $20 fee over the phone with a bank card. I quickly told them that I do not do payments over the phone but he insisted that I could do it through some other way where he would not get the information. After he put me on hold once more, I finally hung up and changed my Koodo password back. Now they are continuously calling from the original number as well as (437)-294-6488.

Sorry this was missed. Definitely a scam.

Koodo will never ask for your self serve password over the phone. The most they would ask would be for your 4-6 digit pin code, which even then you should give out hesitantly.

In the future, if you ever want to confirm an offer, ask the agent to leave a note and a callback number, and then reach out to Koodo directly to confirm the offer.
