Prepaid

Hi,   I have koodo pre-paid for about 8 years and loved the service, and my base plan of $15 automatically renewed on July 3. I would like to change the base plan, and the new one is more expensive, it seem that we have to paid for the full amount for the new base plan right out of the gate. So that would be about $30 for the new plan...however, we just paid $15 for the old plan for July, so am wondering, will we get a credit back for the balance of the month not used under the old plan? or do we need to call in to do it and avoid loosing the balance?  Thanks for your help! I am a prepaid customer currently travelling to a non - US country. The easyroam option is not available for prepaid customers. What do I need to do to receive a call from Canada while I am travelling and will the person calling be charged extra for it as opposed to if I was in Canada when the call came in. Thanks.

Well basically i cant afford my 15$ a month rn got fired before payday and didnt get payed.. and wont be able to pay in 2 days i dont mind going without phone but i want to know if my phone number will cease to exist after i dont pay or if i have a certain ammount of time before i lose the number . i have alot of people who know my number and i dont want to have to change it
