I only need my Koodo phone for voice calls. I want to disable SMS completely.
This phone is only for me to call with my elderly mother, and the constant barrage of dangerous scam text messages are driving her crazy.

We recommend scheduling a call back with the virtual assist and ask to speak with a tech support rep, as they are equipped to further assist.
Look into wireless home phone. That might be exactly what she could be looking for... just calls and no text or data.
