I currently have an iPhone XS and I’ve ordered an iPhone 14 which is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I can’t quite figure out if I can simply just switch the SIM card from my current phone to the new phone or if I have to go into a Koodo store and have them do something on their end. I’ve been googling it and some websites say it’s fine and I can just swap it myself and be fine but others are saying it takes a different type of SIM card and I will have to go in.
Any help is appreciated

Which phone did you order? Normally you can just simply take the SIM from the current phone and put it into the new one. It will work fine.

Yes the iphone XS and iphone 14 take the same size sim card so you can put your old sim into the iphone 14 and it will work
+4Just as an FYI, every Apple phone since the iPhone 5 has used the same size sim card. (nano-sim).
