Question

Pixel 6 and the kind scammy thing

Why are they still trying to charge $320 + $10 for 24 months for basic tab on a phone only worth 399 on the google store?

Did this help you find an answer to your question?

Where did you see it? I only saw the 6a and zero upfront.

also want to point out they claim its 702 retail price, want to point out the original release price in Canada was 599… was never 702 so this is pretty shady...

Carriers put a huge markup on the retail prices because they want to encourage using the tab. I don’t like it either, but it’s a bit harsh to call it shady because you have a choice to purchase your device elsewhere. If you plan on buying it outright such as from the Google store, in that case I would highly recommend that.

I get that 360 + 240 equates to 600 dollars, but making such a false red flag statement in regards to retail price is kind of sketchy… whats more blatent is that it still claims that retail price, this phone is worth 399 now and will be the new price because of the the new pixel 7 phones launching, Koodo better get their act together

Definition of retail price: https://www.myaccountingcourse.com/accounting-dictionary/retail-price

So that’s not at all “what it’s worth” but more “what the market can bear”. I’m with you, I don’t like it either, but I think Koodo is smart enough not to go against the law.
