My calls to others through Koodo are blocked

I can't call people anymore. Every time I make a call out, originally there would be a continuous drip indicating that I am calling, but now there is complete silence, and after waiting for a while, it suddenly hangs up, and the phone shows that there is no Internet, but I am sure that the Internet is fine, and sometimes I am connected to the wifi. I went to the nearby service station, the customer service said that my account was fine, and asked me to call and text her, but she did not receive any of them.

I asked which phone model are you using because some phone doesn't work with Koodo VoLTE and need 3G coverage to work.

Thank you, I am using Redmi Note 12 Turbo with 5G coverage. I don’t know Koodo VoLTE well, and the phone call issue is a problem I recently encountered but never a problem before.

That phone isn’t compatible with VoLTE from Koodo https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/volte?

Because of this, your phone need 3G (HSPA) network to operate. Unfortunately Koodo and other carriers are shutting down 3G tower, hence your phone couldn’t make call if there was no 3G network around. You could test it our by putting the SIM card into another phone on their list to test.

Which phone are you using? And did it only happen to outgoing call? How about SMS?

Seems I can still receive others calling me and texting me, and I can reply them through SMS, but there are problems when I am calling out to them or texting them. What does it mean by “which phone” may I ask?
