Koodo Tab won't clear after final payment

I have my Koodo Tab payed off for about 5 months now, but the website still states I have a tab on the plan selection page.  Is there any means to correct this?

Hi @Jessy U

For existing lines, the available plans can be viewed by going to Mobile Services → Change plan:  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/changing-your-rate-plan

Plans under the “Shop” section are what brand new lines are eligible for

I hope this helps :)

What happens if you continue with it? Typically if you still have a tab that you wish to pay off early for a new tab, it’ll have the outstanding amount put on your next bill. If the outstanding amount is indeed zero when you try to go ahead with a purchase, I’d just go ahead with it.

Yeah I have no issue in starting a new tab, but on the plan selection page, the category of plans that is “bring your own phone” is missing like normal without a tab.

Ah I see. Did you want to just switch plans without a tab? You do that within your self-serve account so you can see what shows up as available there. I can also flag a rep if you’d like to see why the main page doesn’t show the no tab options.

When I go to plans page once logged into my account, the bring your own phone option plans don’t appear.  Unless that only appears for new customers, but previously I recall seeing that option when I owned my phone and already being with Koodo.

Although, if I navigate through self serve and select change plan, I do see all the proper options as if I don’t have a tab.  I guess it’s just a bit of a webpage glitch if anything.

Let me flag to look into it. It seems the current plan prevented you from changing to a BYOD plan.
