As the question states. I got all the notifications from Koodo that I'll need to update my APN settings by Feb 7th to maintain group text and picture text functionality. I updated the settings but I've still lost the functionality. Is my device no longer supported? My phone is commonly known as an Xperia 5ll. But the device is officially known as a Sony QX-AS72. I know it's not a super common phone, so I'm wondering if anyone else I'm the community has had the same issue?

Did this help you find an answer to your question?

It seems your APN was set correctly as per Koodo APN page https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone

Can you try to change the MMSC to Telus MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mmsc It might not work but you can try.

Koodo and Telus recently announced the plan to shutdown MMS support for certain device. If that APN settings didn’t work, you might unfortunately need to get another device to use MMS with Koodo https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/picturemessagingchanges

I have an Xperia 5III and am having the same problem. All settings updated but no functionality. These are not old devices. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new provider.

Edit: changing preferred network and downgrading all the way to 3g has restored mms functionality. Not a good solution, but a solution.
