Does it take up minutes to call voicemail on limited Prepaid account?

I have limited outgoing minutes.

It does, yes.

Anytime you see you make or pickup a call and see the phone counting up the time, it is considered a call and will use your minutes.

Yes, the outgoing minutes will be used to access your voicemail.

Too bad. I had a special carryover on Telus where my calls to voicemail were not counted against my minutes (I even had per second billing until just 4 yrs ago). I was with Telus since Clearnet days over 20 years ago.

Most people don’t care about these things since most plans are moving towards unlimited calling… I’m not there yet.
