We’ve noticed an increase in Community members asking whether a call they received was really from Koodo. With all the Scam/Robo calls going, it makes sense to remain as vigilant as possible.

To help, we’ve compiled a list of reasons you might receive a call from Koodo.

  • Scheduled callback via Koodo Assist

  • Marketing call offering a promotional offer

  • Webstore might need to ask some verification questions

  • Payment services might need to speak with you about a payment

Due to how the call is processed, you sometimes need to say “Hello!” in order for the system to recognize that you picked up and are ready to speak with an agent. In some cases, you might even hear a brief period of ringing before being connected with an agent.

Once you're connected, the representative will identify themselves as a Koodo Employee and provide you with the reason for the call. In most cases, we’re just providing general information about an account or offering a promotion that can be completed using Self Serve. If changes need to be made to an account, we may need to verify your identity by asking for your account PIN. Verifying an account before changes are completed is necessary to ensure the person we are speaking with is permitted to accept/make any account changes.

Remember! If at any moment, during the call, you start wondering if it's really Koodo on the line or if the offer seems a little too good to be true. Remain polite, and simply tell the representative that you feel uncomfortable continuing with the call and request that they leave notes in the account about your conversation. You can always schedule a callback, afterwards, using Koodo Assist to validate your conversation.

Here are some official numbers we might call you from:

  • 1-866-448-8030

  • 1-866-360-1448

  • 1-833-348-3589

  • 1-877-264-5020

  • 1-844-368-7384

Note: We often make multiple attempts to try reaching you. If you’re not interested in an offer, it’s always best to answer the call to let us know so that we can remove you from the list for that particular offer. It’s not suggested but, if you want, you can even have a discussion with the rep about removing you from all future marketing calls.
