I have turned off Wi-Fi Assist as previously directed for this same situation. My account is still showing my Data is being used during the night when I am asleep. This is always between the hours of 12 AM & 6 AM.
Also, bought a US Roaming that didn’t work in the part of Pennsylvania that I was in. How can I find out where Roaming will work in the US?

Thank you all for your help. The responses I got before this I didn’t understand (non techi) so as one of you mentioned I just turn the Data off until I want to use it. So far so good.
I did find some list on the phone that said what apps were using the data. No surprise Norton topped the list. The surprise was itunes, I don’t even have the itunes app on the phone. I did a thorough search and no itunes app.

Did you turn off Background App Refresh? It is possible that your phone is still looking for updates, even though you are not using it.
There are also apps that you can get that will tell you which apps are using your data. Do you need to leave your data on during the night? I only turn my data on when using it, otherwise I leave it off.
What phone do you have?
