Activating new Prepaid overseas

So the reason it wont activate on one your local networks is because Koodo Prepaid only works in Canada and the USA.

So it will keep attempting to connect, but won't succeed. That's also why you wont recieve the authentication text message.

You should have the option to authenticate via an email instead of a text to access the self serve account, I suggest you try this instead. But again, the service won't work unless you're in Canada or the USA. 🙂👍

I’ve been trying to gain access to the prepaid self serve account for an hour now, but the password reset fails at the last stage.  The forum says that this has been happening for two weeks.  Is there any way at all to contact support besides the chat (which schedules a callback that won’t call my overseas number)?

So there is! If you're oversees and need help with prepaid then you can reach out to a koodo rep via their social media pages, Facebook and X (twitter). You're correct, there is an ongoing issue with logging into prepaid.

The correct profiles for their social media can be found by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking their associated logos. Normally, you also have the option here for help, but as you have prob seen reps on here have limited abilities when it comes to prepaid accounts.

However, most of the time you can find an answer on the community so feel free to ask questions here again. 🙂👍
