new phone number

I was going to order a sim card online with a plan for my old phone because I don’t have to pay the connection fee that way. The problem is that I need a new phone number. I can’t really find information on how I get a new phone number. I don’t want to transfer or port any  old numbers. I just need a new number. If I order a new sim card, will that automatically give me a number or is there something I need to do to get a new phone number?

Hi there, @Dotdot !  If you are a new customer and you proceed with a SIM only activation, the system will automatically give you a new phone number. Once you receive the SIM card and IF you wish to port your number you may do so as well.
