Making sure no surprise charges

Hi there,

Im a monthly plan user travelling in China and would like get definiteive answers to the following questions:

  1. I disabled easy roam but would like to use my koodo number for receiving text only. Would there be any roaming charges for this? 
  2. I’d like to make wifi calling to Canadian numbers only . Would there be any roaming charges for this? Furthermore if wifi signal cuts out during a call would it continue automatically via network coverage and therefore incur roaming charges? Without my knowledge of course.

1. No charge for incoming texts. Just make sure you don’t send any texts, make or pickup a call, and make sure that both data and data roaming are turned off.

2. Wifi calling is only available in Canada.
