I added UL long distance minutes (US) which is $15 and it’s described in my bill as partial charges. Why am I getting charged an additional $15 for an add on charge? I only added long distance.

Wireless carriers bill 1 month ahead of time.
Due to this you are billed for the current billing period (part way, pro rated) plus the cost for next month
