Everything is setup, the modem is showing full connection; wifi shows a green light, but I can’t access any webpage, other than the wifi router page.
Internet works when I connect directly to the modem.
I’ve tried connecting through Lan 1 from my computer and still no success.
I’ve tried changing the DNS settings both on the router and my computer, 8.8.8.8 still no luck.
I’ve tried contacting koodo but they’re busy. I’m not sure if its a defective router.
I can ping up to the modem, but pinging outside doesn’t work.
I’ve tried everything I can think of with no success. Thank god I didn’t cancel my old internet yet.

Ok, so I somehow stumbled upon a solve, not sure why or how it works, neither did the tech support person I talked to… BUT, I set the IP range on the wifi router to the same as my existing router, (still had my old internet running) then I plugged the wifi router into my old router, after a bunch of blinking lights, some were blue, it was able to connect through my old router and worked. Plugged it back into the koodo modem and again, after a few minutes of blinking lights, it went green and it worked!
So I’m not too sure if I force an error with the duplicate IP address of the routers.. but regardless, for some reason it connected and was able to get the updated time etc.
Now, I haven’t power cycled it, but I hope everything stays the same.
It's strange that you can ping the modem through the router but not reach the internet when you can reach the internet direct to the modem. That alone suggests that the issue has something to do with the router.
I don't have either device or the manuals thereof to hand at the moment, can you provide a few details to help troubleshoot?
What is the modem IP?
What is the router IP?
When you login to the router, what does it show as the gateway IP?

Thank you for sharing this! I had the exact same problem. Connected the modem to my old router (also hadn’t canceled my original plan yet) then again to the router provided by Koodo then suddenly all my devices were able to connect to the internet.
