Just wondering if wifi calling is possible to set up without cell service, only have wifi and it insists on sending text code that I will not receive

For Wi-Fi calling to work, it has to be activated when you’re in an area with cellular coverage. As soon as you’re out of the coverage area, Wi-Fi Calling is automatically triggered/enabled.

Thanks a million, that's what I was afraid of, be a few months with no service so I was hoping there was a way around it

Another option is to download the Fongo Mobile app for Android or iOS devices. This gives you a free local Canadian phone number that you can use to make and receive calls. The app works over Wi-Fi (or mobile data).
