Why was I able to talk to a live agent on Sunday, but today all I can do is Koodo Assist, which is not helpful in the least.

why cant I talk to a live agent today when i did on sunday?

If you’re referring to Koodo Expert Messaging, this is only available during certain times of the day and when a rep is available. For instance, they’re available during the week from 9am to 9pm local time and on weekends from 9am to 7pm local time. You leave them a message of the request when Expert Messaging is available, and then when a rep frees up they will respond.
Sometimes they’re not available due to the amount of requests, of which Koodo assist can still be used to schedule a callback with a rep if needed. In the meantime, we can assist you on here with most problems. What is it you need help with? If Koodo community members are not able to help, we can get you in touch with a rep through this platform who might be able to assist instead.
