If when you make a call, you still see it say LTE on your phone then you’ve successfully turned it on. If it switches to 3G as soon as you make a call, then it is not enabled.

Hi @brookelynn

this will be in your top right corner of your screen when you make a phone call, it’s in the same spot as when you use mobile data.

When you place a phone call, the LTE symbol will remain in the top right corner when you’re on VoLTE. If not, it will switch to “3G” being displayed instead. If it switches to 3G, then the device is using the 3G network to make the call as opposed to VoLTE.

I apologize for the delayed response. That’s exactly right - to have the indicator appear it’s best to turn off wifi and have data enabled. This is encase you have wifi calling enabled, causing the LTE logo to not appear in addition that your tool bar in the top right can only display so much at once. So when wifi is enabled it may not show this. You did the right thing.

Where you saw the LTE indicator, made the call, and it did not change shows that you’re calling over the VoLTE network and that the device is correctly setup and compatible. I hope this confirmation helps. 🙂
