Transferring e sim help

I tried transferring my eSIM to my new phone using Apple’s transfer option, but it says I need to contact Koodo.

I also tried to recover the eSIM, but I can’t get past the email verification page because it says the phone number is too new.

I’m not sure what to do next. Can you please help?

Have you tried scanning this QR code to see if it works?

What phone are you transferring from?

Was the old phone on an eSIM or a physical SIM?

Apple's eSIM Quick Transfer between two iPhones tends to just end up telling you to contact Koodo, so I would do it in Self Serve instead, Mobile Services » Manage your SIM card or eSIM » Transfer my eSIM to a newer device. The iPhone side is covered here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-on-apple

The QR code only triggers the eSIM download while an activation is still pending, so I wonder if that's why it isn't helping you here. And if the verification stays blocked because the number is too new, a Koodo or Telus store can do the transfer for you, bring valid ID.
