I have just upgraded my phone and got it today. I still have my old phone with the original SIM card in it. When I put my new SIM card in my new phone, it says no service. Do I have to put in my old SIM card in my new phone for it to work? I thought the new SIM card was already pre-activated.

New SIM cards only come activated with a new line. In your case, you can keep it as a spare (it’s not activated) and keep using your old SIM card in your new phone :)
