Sim Card Issue

So I got a new sim and transferred my number from bell to koodo using the steps and it deactivated from bell. It has been 7 hours now and still no service. have rebooted many times etc. Reset network settings and checked to make sure the sim number was the right one in the self help area. Anyone else have a simple solution?

Did your SIM card work before you ported your number? What does self serve indicate?
