My phone will not allow me to make phone calls or receive phone calls.   iPhone.   Phone is not hooking up to Koodo- says no service.

If your sim works in his phone, then it shouldnt be an issue with your account or sim.

But if your husband’s sim works in your phone, then you would expect the issue to not be with your phone.

The issues seems to be the combination of your phone and sim combined, which makes it hard to diagnose.

At this point, you can buy a new sim to see if it fixes things.  Or you can reset your network settings to see if it makes a difference.

Are you a new customer or did you recently change your plan?

Was your service working previously?

Have you tried restarting your phone?

No I am not a new customer and no changes. I have restarted my phone numerous times.   and yes it was working previously.   I am frustrated.  I only realized it wasn’t working when my son couldn't reach me.

When you login to your self serve account, does everything look paid up?

Are you able to take your sim card out and try it on another phone?

Thank you. Yes, all paid up… always paid early.   And I did log in to make sure that wasn’t an issue.    I did not try another phone, but will see if I can find an old one to try it on.

Is this a new SIM you just put in, or did a line that was working suddenly drop to no service? Can you try more troubleshooting tips here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/im-not-getting-any-network-service

As well, is the current phone a new iphone? If you bought it from someone, you checked if it wasn't blacklisted?

Not a new sim, the phone was my husband's and I have been using it for at least two years, probably more.   it just suddenly dropped service.    No changes, nothing.

If you can try your sim in another confirmed working device, we can better narrow down if it is a phone issue, or a sim/network issue.

Is anyone else next to you with Koodo also having issues?

Looks like it may be my phone.   The SIM card worked in my husbands phone :(.     (Husband is on same plan as me and his phone works just fine.)

Try your husband’s sim in your phone and see if that works.

On your iphone try going to Settings > General > Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Note that any saved bluetooth and wifi settings will be lost

My husband’s SIM card does work in my phone, so it is definitely my iPhone.  Any thoughts before I reset the network settings ?  I really don’t want to lose everything :(. Tx

Resetting network settings only loses saved WiFi passwords and Bluetooth connections.
