I recently (finally) changed to a 5G Plan, it appears to be using 5G but it is slower than when I was using LTE. I’m having trouble loading my pages and speeds are unacceptably slow.
Device is a IPhone 16 Pro Max using a Physical SIM.
5G is set to “5G On” in settings, and I’ve tried restarting multiple times, along with doing multiple “Reset Network Settings”
Still nothing…
Check your iPhone cellular data options by going to Settings, then Cellular, then Cellular Data Options, and finally Voice and Data. Make sure it is set to 5G Auto instead of 5G On so your phone can intelligently switch bands for better speeds. 5G is not always faster especially when coverage is bad inside.
