No speed dial for Koodo voicemail

After replacing my SIM card, speed dial 1 no longer works to access my Koodo voicemail.  I just get dead air.  And the voicemail access number does not appear on my phone anywhere.  How do I get Koodo to push that voicemail access number to my phone?  I have already spent a lot of time going in circles on Koodo assist, and have been told that I should select an option for a callback.  I have no list of options anywhere.  All I want is that number pushed to my phone.  How do I get that to happen?

Note that the subject list does not include this sort of thing, so I simply chose one of the listed subjects.

That voicemail number has been pushed to my phone, and that fixed my problem.

Hi

Which phone model are you using? The voicemail centre number is normally set automatically by Koodo, so a SIM swap can leave the handset without it.

You can still reach your mailbox by dialing 1 + your area code + your own number.

For the speed dial itself, I would try resetting network settings and then restarting the phone, then have someone call and let it ring out to test. If you're on an iPhone, check whether Apple Live Voicemail is turned on, it can cause problems with Koodo voicemail for some customers.

I did forget to mention that my voicemail is active, callers can leave messages, and I can access them by directly dialing my number.  I just want that speed dial to work, and just need the number pushed to my phone.  It sounds so simple, yet seems so difficult...

I have tried resetting network settings, restarting the phone, and so on.  It is a Samsung Galaxy S24.  As noted, my voicemail is working just fine, and I can access it by dialing directly.  I just want that speed dial 1 to work, and just need Koodo to push the number to my phone.

Hi @RickNS

If you have already tried resetting the network settings and it is still not working, you would need to speak with a team member from the technical support team. You can schedule a call back with the virtual assist https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help

Yeah, been there, done that.  Did not get a callback last time (days ago), and still have not received one.  That entire “virtual assist” is a pretty poor effort.
