New phone - SIM card doesn’t work

Hi!  I recently purchased a new phone/SIM card, and unfortunately the SIM card doesn’t work.  I tried updating, turning the phone on and off, and I still can’t get it to function.  I did try my old SIM card in my new phone and it did work.  Is there anything I can do/try to get my new SIM card to work?  Thank you!!

The new sim card they send isn’t activated and is just sent in case you need it, (old one lost, broken, different size, etc).

Just continue using the old one and keep the one they sent you as a spare!
