You can turn it off in your phone settings, but the method to do so varies depending on the kind of phone you have.

To block your number from appearing in call display on a per-call basis, dial #31# in front of the number you are calling.

That’s what I do: I drink and I know things.

thank you - that is how I ended up doing it - phone settings and then undoing it after -

however when I tried *67 when making the call to prefix the number to hide my number it didn’t work…

perhaps your #31# will work for me next time!!
