The phone should work just fine with Koodo, but I'm not sure if you can activate eSim. You can check this page for the phones that are currently supported: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchers

+4Does your phone show a spot in the settings to add an esim to it?
My understanding is that the Huawei P30 Pro does not support eSIM technology. Some variants in other countries offer hybrid dual-SIM card support. The P40 and P40 Pro are the first cell phones from Huawei that offer eSIM technology.
